TenorPenny Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Firstly, apologies for the quality of pictures. Am still getting used to my camera set up. With feet as large as commercial automobiles, the Sentinel is large enough to make a real statement. The claws on each arm also function as slug throwers. Similar in size to the Sentinel, the Charger is designed for long range combat, boasting two shoulder cannons and blasters on each hand. The Prickly Petal is a one-off, the mech of choice for a rather eccentric bounty hunter. A garish paint-job and two rocket-launchers make his bot a rather tough customer. Quote
Delta62 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Those are very cool. I like the Charger the best. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 What? Delta - you crazy! Prickly Petal is by far the best one! look how cute it is! Fun mechs TenorPenny! Quote
Legostein Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Hello, these are some nice micro mechas. The colour schemes you chose for each of them are very nice. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
LandShark Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Great little mechs, TenorPenny. My favourites probably the Charger, it looks really bulky and big (which can be hard to do with something so small). Also, I don't know why you would apologize for the quality of the pictures, they look fine. The blanket/cloth that you put them on makes it look like there in some kind of snowy terrian. Are you planning on making more of these? Quote
TenorPenny Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 I surely am! Going to have another photoshoot in a bit if the sun comes out. Quote
TenorPenny Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 Gladiator-class Mechs. Armoured cockpits and interchangeable weapon loadouts make them a favourite of mercenaries and bounty hunters throughout the galaxy. Tripods are faster, lighter and more agile than standard mechs, but pilots have to be prepared to sacrifice armour and the ability to swap weapons on the arm mountings. Generally tripods operate in pairs or threes. In my little world, I figure tanks would be cheaper and with a higher straight-line speed than most mechs. These are two examples of light, quick turreted tanks. Quote
TenorPenny Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 A bit of a diorama here, putting some of my buildings together along with the snowy theme, which I kinda like! Quote
