mufftarkin Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I have a problem with the stickers on the ship of the set # 7994 city harbour. they come off although i have the set in a room where no sunlight comes in. this never happenend with other stickers not even with sets which are 10 ore more years older. i tried to remove the stickers completely but the come apart in very small pieces and i don´t know how to remove them. has anybody the same problem or know how to remove ist? The Blue Brick Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 This happened to me with both of my Batman's, "Two Face Escape" sets. The stickers crumbled into pieces while the other batman sets with stickers were fine. The funny part is that the sets were on the same shelf with no sunlight near them. Quote
HighFlyer Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 This unfortunately happens to stickers gradually over time, regardless of whether they have been in contact with direct sunlight or not. I suggest some sort of scrubbing brush (or a toothbrush), and warm soapy water (ideally in a nearly-full basin). If you remove the stickers by hand (i.e. scraping it off with your nail), there is a sticky glue that remains. Luckily, using the method above will resolve this. If you would like some replacement stickers, search around online (it's amazing how many people don't apply their stickers), ot contact TLG. Hope this helped Quote
