Solitary Dark Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 This is my Entry in the Eurobricks Spaghetti Western category 2 Competition. Since most of my brick collection is from castle and city sets from the early eighties with only a few more modern sets added in my challenge was to see if I could build a Western town with what I had - I had some small amounts of Tan and reddish brown, and a few dark tan plates but very little else. I was amazed at how many Cowboy hats I had - All the minifigs have been made up from parts I already had and I didnt buy a single part for this scene. It breaks into two sepearate pieces party so my two kids can have a piece each to play with. I decided on a California/New Mexico feel but the whole town feels a bit more like its cobbled together from whatever folks found lying around! LegoDadRobb Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 This does a great job of capturing a classic Lego feel. The buildings and streets are crisp (and yet still old west dirty), and you demonstrate what can be done with primary colours. Quote
