Are these parts normal or misprinted ?

I'm building a Lego set (7965) and I came across parts that might be misprinted :

Are the green screens supposed to fade to white on the upper part ? If it is indeed a misprint, is it possible to ask Lego for a free replacement ?

I just found the piece on bricklink Slope 45 2 x 2 with Radar and Disk Slot Pattern, and then google image searched it, a few results and all of them have that white fuzz on the top.

I think it's supposed to represent light reflecting off the top of the screen.

I just thought it was a gradient to make the computer screen look more modern.

But anyway, it's not a misprint. LDD actually has two versions of this screen decoration, a newer one with the gradient and an older one without. Bricklink doesn't distinguish between the two styles last I checked, but they are two separate versions.
