Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 If we turned right and then left, we're back going in the same direction we were at the last intersection, so I say we go straight again.* *Not an action, a question, unless... You know the drill.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 If we turned right and then left, we're back going in the same direction we were at the last intersection, so I say we go straight again.* *Not an action, a question, unless... You know the drill. The party heads straight from the intersection, but after a left-turning corner they find themselves in a dead-end. However, there is no map nor a monster in sight. How far does the party wish to backtrack?
Fred Fred Burger Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I think we should go all the way back to after our first left turn , and then check all the paths to the right we passed. This is only a suggestion of course, if any one else has a better idea I'd be more than happy to hear it.
Peppermint_M Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 How about we head back to an earlier turn. Not too close to the entrance so that we do not get to the entrance and spoil our chances. I would like to take the turn before this one.
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Yes, let's go back to the last intersection and turn right.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 Yes, let's go back to the last intersection and turn right. The party turns around, and comes to the previous intersection. STRAIGHT or LEFT?
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I'm assuming this is the intersection I mentioned, and we can't turn right because we turned around, right? If so, we turn Left.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 I'm assuming this is the intersection I mentioned, and we can't turn right because we turned around, right? If so, we turn Left. The party turns left, and come to another corner turning left. They hear ominous rustling somewhere nearby. Four paces later they find themselves at a crossing. LEFT or RIGHT?
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Can we tell which direction the rustling is coming from? If so, we go that direction. If not, I think we should head away from the entrance, which is Left, again.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 Can we tell which direction the rustling is coming from? If so, we go that direction. If not, I think we should head away from the entrance, which is Left, again. The party has already passed the point where the rustling was heard. It came from behind the corn hedge, in any case. The party continues left, and walks straight to another dead-end. They spin around and return to the previous crossing. STRAIGHT or RIGHT?
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 If I follow this correctly, since we turned around, Straight is what used to be Right and Right is the direction we came from, right? If so, the obvious choice is to go Straight.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 Moving on, the party comes to another crossing. STRAIGHT or RIGHT?
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 We came from the Right at the last intersection, and we had passed the rustling, so I think we should go Right here.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 The party turns right. Ahead is another intersection. STRAIGHT or LEFT?
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I do see some of the other party members are paying attention but not speaking - feel free to discuss our direction if you disagree. We should be heading up now, in relation to the position we were in at the beginning, so let's go Straight.
Sandy Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 The party continues straight ahead until they hit a wall. LEFT or RIGHT?
Peppermint_M Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Tesni squinted up at the sky. "I have no idea Docken, I am lost for sure!"
Brickdoctor Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Okay, at this point, we're still in the same orientation we were when we began, and we heard the rustling while heading in the opposite direction to our right, so let's head Right.
Sandy Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 The party turns right, and after going around a corner they come to a dead-end. Tamamono Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 "Didn't I heal Christopher after the battle with the Direwolves?" "Okay, I'd like to heal Christopher Daggerfall."
Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Okay, six enemies, one for each of us. Jess has the highest power, so she should attack the Scarecrow. Everyone else, pick a Crow to attack, but make sure all Crows are targeted. I'll Attack Scary Crow A from the Back Row. Order of Actions: Christopher Thrain Bartholomew Tesni Jess Tomas

Peppermint_M Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 "Scary Crow B is mine! Courage in battle, I attack from the Front Row!" Tesni flug Cryf high in her hand and tensed for battle, hopefully this one would not be as hard as the battle with the wolves.
Tamamono Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 "Well, there are six enemies, so I suppose I'll attack Scary Crow C from the Front Row!"
