TooMuchCaffeine Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 (edited) I've not built any of these things for a while, but I got some new parts recently which just begged to go into a new Secret Weapon... Buckshot Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Nice design! Love the hangar, too! The door with the diagonal interlocking gears is a great idea--does it open? This is a great MOC--hopefully, part of a series. It is also something that would work very well with a Captain America theme. Well done. Quote
BasOne Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 This was the first thing i thought about: Incredible vehicles and i love the little dio's, just incredible work Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Being interested in the Luftwaffe's secret projects I find this to be very cool. Quote
Grimmy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 That is so awesome! I love it. Nice curves! I always loved alien stuff Quote
has a differing opinion Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Nice, it reminds me of the prototype for UFO abduction set. Is that technology even.....earthly? Quote
-zenn Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Pure awesome! Love the 'grill' effect, does the landinggear slide in? The doors and valves of the hanger are a really nice touch. Just checked out your entire potostream, I'm diggin' your comicbook style of building. Quote
TooMuchCaffeine Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Thanks for the comments folks. Glad you like it. -zenn: No, the landing gear doesn't retract. Not quite enough room in the base for the legs. BasOne: I had no idea about the LucasArts game when I built my first of this set - I just thought it was a cool idea for a building theme. Of course, as soon as people started talking about the game I went and looked for source material. Another great place is luft1946.com - a website with images of the REAL secret weapons of the Luftwaffe. Well worth a look if you're interested in this sort of stuff. Quote
Hollander Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Awesome! Not too much greebles which give this model a very sleek look. Nice landing gear too. Love it! Quote
pinto4402 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Don't know what I like more, the aircraft or awesome looking hangar. I think the hanger takes the edge for sheer originality and cleverness. Quote
