K-Nut Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 "Master Druid, I do hope you have some experience with birthing, because that witch is looking like she'll be due painfully soon - and a high-tension scene like the Fields is only going to speed her inner processes up..." Althior scoffs, "Trust me, we've all seen worse than what awaits us in the fields. She'll be fine," He departs for the Market. Quote
Comrade Commander Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Darksten sees his name get posted to the list of chosen players, and nods to his fellow questers before he gets up to depart for the Market "I will see you at the Fields" Quote
Duvors Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 "Nice to meet thee Throlar. It was a long time someone had called me kiddo" Keliim said with a smile "Hahaaha but I guess that is what I in a dwarfs eyes!" "Well, not really, it all depends on relative age, for instance, if I was a human I'd probably be around twenty or so." he had calmed down significantly as soon as he'd gotten a chance to show off. Thankfully Emorith steps in and Matthias departs without a word, headed to the Marketplace for tonics. Quote

Asphalt Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 A man robed in flat black from head to toe, carrying an ornate staff topped with a crystal orb, steps from the shadows near the quest board. He reaches out and removes the sheet containing the aid request for quest 133. He reads over it silently, comparing the names on it to the names of those who have departed. He pulls a quill from the sleeve of his robe and strikes two names from the list. Three potential heroes, it is a powerful number, but not yet ideal. The Caliph will be pleased that there are those who will come to his aid. There is still time for this list to grow. I fear that more strength may be needed. He returns the pen to his sleeve and retacks the notice to the board. He then turns and melts back into the darkness. Endgame Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I slip in through the familiar doors of Heroica Hall for the first time in a long while, and sit down. The Munchkin saw the Undead enter, and sympathetically winced at the Assassin's painful condition. To Throlar: "Pardon me one moment - general socializing." He stepped over to the bar where the Assassin had sat down. "Ice water - excellent choice of beverage. A personal favorite of mine as well." Edited April 27, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote

"Well, on my last quest we fought some alie-magic star lizards, that is, that were stealing sheep from some Mount Ulyssesians who knows what. We trounced them passably, but we'd have trounced them far faster if our Battle Mystic hadn't kept trying to make friends with them." Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 "As in... Retiles. From outer space...?" "No, just magic. Creatures from space don't exist." The Munchkin's voice took on a hard, almost intimidating note for a moment, then it faded away as he continued. "I was just using star as just a generally magical adjective, without any real meaning. You know, like the symbols on a wizard's hat - all stars, and moons and suns - they don't mean anything really."He grinned, and seemed to be trying to change the subject. And people should never say something doesn't exist, the universe has a nasty habit of proving them wrong."After saying this he extended his hand to the other person present.
