Annienal gets up briefly and looks around for the individual who posted the notice.

"Um... excuse me... Sir Regulus. Salutations. I am former cadet... um, yeah, former cadet Annienal Anavir of Trost Military Academy. I was wondering if you'd be willing to part with this Ammit you own. I don't know how much you want, but perhaps we could make a deal of some sorts?" She asks timidly.

"Hmm...I paid 150 Gold for it, but frankly I overpaid at the time. I'd be willing to part with it for that Grating Stone of yours, if you're willing."

You selling off stuff? Then notice the "Unlucky Horseshoe" and ask, "You willing to sell off the horseshoe?"

Arthur looks over the odd being who had approached him, a chill running down his spine. "Ah...no, I don't believe I'd be willing to sell this particular weapon. It has...unique properties. No offense, but I would prefer to lend it to a friend than to sell it to a stranger." Hmmm...I wonder...? Arthur glances around the Hall, searching for a one-eyed Warden, but cannot seem to locate his quarry.

Miderun looked up at the mention of her name.

"No thanks. For one orcs don't find glory in killing random animals at a farm. It also doesn't sound very...heroic. And if it's as difficult as they say, I don't think we'd last very long. I learned long ago not to pick fights that are above me." The orc tugged at a loose bit of her bandaged arm.

"That's a lesson I wish I'd learned a long time ago," Arthur mentions ruefully.

"That sounds fair." Annienal passes Arthur her grating stone.

"That sounds fair." Annienal passes Arthur her grating stone.

Arthur slides the glowing weapon over to Annienal before pocketing the small grating stone. "He's all yours."

OK, fine I get it. Then thinking, their is something "odd" about this guy.

"..So... The imps, your people. Are enslaved, captured, by demons or something? And here I thought you were demons. You've got the black skin and burning eyes to pass for them... If you ever need help in saving your people. I am willing. "

"I believe they were sent there by people of this realm, long ago... They are now residents of the realm of Zoot, so if where you you are from is who you are, then... Yes I suppose they are demons now... And their appearance is a little different than my own, at least from what I had seen down below." On his second remark, Hybros looks up to meet Guts' eye. "I thank you for that. I will know who to call on when the time comes." He gazed a little longer, and then leaned back, a little more relaxed. He tried to meet Eric's eye, who had come back to the Hall and took a seat at the bar, and waved him over. He turned his attention back to Guts. "So, this business with the Guild of Invision... what do you think? You have the most experience with the house, enough to train with them, I see. Your leadership could be useful for that quest, if you were chosen."

Guts shrugs. "The Alchemists are scholars first, fighters second. They probably want Heroica because we are good at what we do. But then again, they have a reason for not sending their own people. It's well I have not unlearned ALL the tricks of my previous trade." Guts grins. "Whatever the case may be, this quest would be a good oppertunity to fight alongside each other again. The others I've adventured with are skilled and able, but they just don't seem to be quite as good as you."

Hybros grinned back. "I know you are up to the task, Guts. You are a strong warrior who fights first and asks questions later...." Hybros taps his fingers on the table. "I, too, have changed my fitting style. I have learned much from the Ji Pei. To fight with my inner strength and spirit rather than with my scythe and sword... It is... Different than before, my new powers do not simply allow me to kill with one swift strike, but they do empower me with the will to fight. To think about my actions... I feel they will prove useful on my next quest."

Hybros also noticed that Arthur had nonchalantly sat back down at his and Guts' table. "Hello again, Arthur." He took note of the items Arthur had laid out on the table, and watched the exchange with what appeared to be a Moon Elf. "Are you thinking of opening your own stall at the market? Eheh... well as long as you are selling items, would you be willing to part with that Hollow Dagger?"

As it seemed as if Annie had not heard, Warlen asked again, blushing slightly, if she would like to join the Fields Of Glory team.

"Um... no, not really. It doesn't sound all that interesting. It seems a little... dangerous. I d-don't know, it seems like your going and kicking a hornets nest."

Warlen smiled sadly, nodded to her and walked back to the QuestBoard.

He removed his old note, then updated it with this:

Not that I care, but when did you become "leader"? (And just so you know, I do not want to be "party leader".) Plus I am at level 5 not 6.

OoC: You can be higher than level 12. If you want to join the "Fields of Glory" team.

Warlen updated his note with a few scrawls.

Suggested party for the fields of glory.

Warlen Melimane, Mage/Party Leader until further notice.* (Level 6)

The demon Germ, Rogue. (Level 5)

Lind Whisperer, Rogue. (Level 12)

Throrlar Wingheim, Knight. (Level 12)

*Quarion the floating skull will be joining us in the event that Warlen is chosen.

OOC: All heroes level 5-16 can join.

He then replied to Germ, "Well, that was in case we are chosen quite soon. Look, I'll ask Lind and you ask Throlar if they want to be party leader."

Ooc: Is level 16 any better?

If I can find them in time I will ask them about it.

OoC: I am just trying to be open with the Levels. I do not want anyone to be felt left out with the Fields of Glory team.

"What! Me? Hell no! I'd be a terrible leader, really, you'd be better off walking into a pit of vipers."

It was less his sudden appearance and more his loud and frantic tone that made this surprising.

The doors to Heroica Hall open loudly as a tall, tanned looking individual looks around the hall. He circles three names on the sign ups for a particular quest before beckoning them in a thick, booming voice.

"You three, I meet you at gates of Eubric leading to Eubric Highway. Lateness will be not be excused."

Heckz walks up to the questboard happyly, as it seems he was chosen.

And as always, I'm chosen. The guy probably looked at my face before choosing me. Then there's that one guy I spoke with once and... a raider? Oh please don't be smelly please don't be smelly please don't be smelly...

He then leaves the hall.
