Pyrovisionary Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Sarge returns to his meagre apartment, being sure to avoid his daughter - Although luckily she had a customer at the time. Closing his door quietly and with a sigh of relief he changes his attire to be more fitting of a black knight, with a dashing red cape; although it was unlikely that he would attract any ladies. After that he slowly goes down the stairs onto the street and back to the hall. With nothing of hism calibre on the quest board - Yet - he goes to find a table at the bar. He notices Throlar's small helm and stops in his tracks. Smiling with glee he walks with a bit of swagger up to the dwarf with a manical grin on his face. "It seems me and you have a score to settle matey." Quote

Now, what will you have, Wine? Beer? Ale? Schnapps?" Sarge hesitates, then answers, confused and angry. "Don't matter?" Sarge grumbles under his breath, before looking dejectedly back at the dwarf "No drink, I'll only humiliate meself." He sighs, then mutters "We should've sent the dwarf against you. Bit'a Dwarf-on-Dwarf action liven things up a bit" Sarge sniggers under his breath before looking deathly serious. There is a long pause. "And you murdered Orokai." samurai-turtle Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) (OOC; You do out of character in pink too! Yay! In other news, I'm a team member too, so that's all right.) Throlar had seen the note that the strange catlike man had posted, and felt interested by it, enough so the he got up and strode over to have a closer look. "Are you forming a team for the Fields of Glory? Allow me to introduce myself, Throlar Wineghilm, at your service." He bowed. "Whom do I have the pleasure of addressing?" Looks the guy over. And then said to him: They call me, The Demon Germ. You do look like you could handle your self in a fight so, if you want to come along you are more than welcome to. OoC: I think it is easier to read the "pink" than the "gray" I see every one else does. "Well, better to go with someone I know... just don't be surprised if I try and stop you leaving." I get that. Then after the second part said, i am surprise you did not try to stop me the last time. After some of the conversation with Throlar & Sarge, he thought: Throlar might be as big of pain in the rear as him. Edited September 29, 2014 by samuraiturtle Quote

K-Nut Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Althior had been sitting quietly in his spot in the corner as Sarge had entered. He sat calmly, staring at the drink in front of him. It was a well deserved drink, wasn't it? He'd helped return a child to his family and had put a miserable being out of her misery. But what about this witch? Or the fate of the city? He hadn't seen Finnegan since leaving the sewers. If the aura had left the city, well, he couldn't be blamed. Hell was coming to Eubric, and soon. And he was responsible. He heard voices from below, shouting at each other. Probably the veterans arguing of whether or not to throw him out of the hall. Combined with the shouts his former party members had been exchanging, the Necromancer had had enough. He dropped his fist on the table loudly and looked to the floor. A moment later, he looked up to the old man. "Shouldn't you be on a ship to Salmanda about now, old-timer? I'm guessing you haven't got yourself much time left. It's a pretty long trip, and you don't even have a fancy boat to get you there this time," Quote

And, I was in a foul mood with the other things that went on in the woods. Then in a more quieter voice said: It might be better not to go into that stuff, that happen to me in the woods. Then looks at his "whip" as he puts it on the table top, wondering how much is it telling its "boss". Quote

He rested his head against the cold wall behind him, closing his eyes exhaustively. "Guessing you've made your way around in your day too. Surely you've seen more than just the plains of Babeleth in your time." Quote

Althior took a sip of his drink. It was warm. Obviously, he had been thinking this over too much, "Not anymore I'm not," he said, simply. And it was true. This "true believer" attitude got him nowhere. Time to get up and move on. "I think the Wolfgang've got some ideological cause but at the end of the day they're doing the right thing, right?" Althior leaned in and lowered his voice. "Now you tell me. It was you and the Nord that signed on for this without a blink of the eye. Sure, we did some good. Got Dain a good job, returned a kid to his parents, put an old lady out of her misery. We did an awful lot of bad too." He paused, "We could bicker about this all night. It all depends on where your loyalties lie. Your friends at the Guild may not have a problem with these rebels. Just improves their business, right? Talk to someone worshiping the Hinckwells or the Bonapartes and you may get a different story," He lowers his voice, "I said it in the sewers and I'll say it again. A war for Eubric will come, and on that day you're going to have to decide where your loyalties lie. Hopefully I can get pulled out of here before that happens." Endgame Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Rather quiet and contemplative in these past few months, I spot a familiar face after my long trial in the Aacdemy. "Althior. Back from an adventure?" Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Sarge nods quietly to Althior, still contemplating the quest. Finally he hesitates before taking another puff of his cigar and grinning for little to no reason. This continues as he hears a vaguely familiar voice. That was it, the guy from his first quest! Sadness or something like that. He sits back and watches as the dialogue ensues. Quote

K-Nut Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Althior chortled. "Not sure if you could call it an adventure. More like an ordeal," It was nice seeing a familiar face, even if he wasn't sure Sorrow technically had said "familiar face". He looked up to the assassin. "Could say the same for yourself. You were off doing some hall monitor service a while back, if I remember correctly. What was that, 9 months ago? Damn, must have been one hell of a job." Quote
