And that is Part of the reason why i would Be pleased to get your help: - Are there ways and Stores that Ship from the US to Germany? - "ways" means probably Lego USA Shops directly to Germany? - my Intention for the 10221 UCS is Not only to get a rare Set, i Love to have tons of bricks in the Same color, so i can spend work on good Design - of which i care - so where do you get all the bricks in rare Colors for your Mocs? Do you Design something in the 3D Designer from Lego and oder this way the Parts? It is Some Kind of Purchase your own creation? I Hope Not many of you will shudder when they Read i will buy an UCS for the Odd Grey Parts.... But my mind is Full of Lego ideas ( mostly spaceships and skyscrspers/Architecture) Which will benefit from a mass of Grey bricks. Do you have any other ideas to get These Parts? I also Hope Not to ask i a fully wrong sub-forum - if so, please Fell free to change that. May the bricks be with you... Dino Quote
charlieboy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Welcome to Eurobricks! Are you aware of www.bricklink.com? It's a website that has hundreds of sellers worldwide selling thousands of parts. There will be sellers in your country too! Buying the UCS sets for parts could work out expensive when you add shipping, have you tried getting it from Germany or elsewhere in Europe? Quote
Miss Kyle Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Any way you try, be aware that you'll be charged customs. If you want to make a bargain in the US, you might be in for some bad surprises when you get your stuff Quote

What i noticed it that germany had the recent starwars and technic sets the first. See here for the 10221 at lego S@H. Oh and ofcourse welcome to EB. Edited August 13, 2011 by P4trickvH Quote

For the difference of 150 euros there can Be a Lot of additional costs... But beeide the UCS i Gould like to buy, where do you get These bricks: e.g. http://www.legotoday.com/152 Hundereds of brown bricks that are only rarely Seen in Stock Sets. I also took a short Look at bricklink - are all of them " proffesional" seller? Any suggestions where to buy/preorder an non yet released Set? Thanks in advance Dino Quote
The Blue Brick Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 That guy that built the sand crawler probably bought all the bricks from a seller from bricklink or has just collected a lot of bricks from over the years from sets. Overtime of collecting lego and sorting you begin to have various pieces in all types of colors. I suggest just get pieces from bricklink then start building. Quote
