swils Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'm sure Quest 4 players will agree with you there. Grumble grumble stupid elves grumble. Quote
Tanma Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Those darn elves with their shimmering eyes, dashing good looks, majestic flowing hair, and their superior agility. What gives them the right to flaunt their glorious Spock bodies at us heroes? ...so yeah, quest 4 has been great, I wonder what our assassination on the elves will do to public relations? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Sandy, I have been looking and I can't find if you can upgrade shields or not. I thought I remembered you saying that you can't, but now I can't find anything about it. The blacksmith sells shields with a sp of 4, but can you upgrade them past that? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I wasn't going to go looking through all the pages for the exact quote, but yes shields may be upgraded just like weapons. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 It says it in Marketplace thread soccerkid. If I get no gem, I might do it. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I wasn't going to go looking through all the pages for the exact quote, but yes shields may be upgraded just like weapons. Ok, thanks very much. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Sandy, I was looking at the stats for the elements, and I noticed that Earth does double against fire monsters and nothing against flying monsters. A dragon is qualified as both, so does a weapon with Earth elemental do double, normal, or none against a dragon? Quote
Sandy Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 Sandy, I was looking at the stats for the elements, and I noticed that Earth does double against fire monsters and nothing against flying monsters. A dragon is qualified as both, so does a weapon with Earth elemental do double, normal, or none against a dragon? In your example, the monster's elemental strength and weakness nullify each other, so an earth-elemental spell would do normal damage to a dragon with the fiery and flying types. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 One more thing Sandy, I believe I signed up for Quest 15 and my name didn't appear on the current sign-ups for it. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Let's go Nyx! I can't wait to see the Advanced Classes! Quote
K-Nut Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Let's go Nyx! I can't wait to see the Advanced Classes! You could just work on me a little. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 You could just work on me a little. You guys are like *holds fingers 1/8 of an inch apart* this far from being done. Sorry. Quote
Quarryman Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 You guys are like *holds fingers 1/8 of an inch apart* this far from being done. Sorry. So we'll be back in Eubric before Elphaba leaves then? Would be really annoying to miss her. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 So we'll be back in Eubric before Elphaba leaves then? Would be really annoying to miss her. Yep. You'll be able to buy all the gems you can afford. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 You guys are like *holds fingers 1/8 of an inch apart* this far from being done. Sorry. Whatever happened to four more battles? Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 "While the rest of you battle these thugsss, I shall attack Dak with my Healing Staff from the back row." Does the healing staff work on negative effects, such as stunned? Quote
Xarrzan Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Does the healing staff work on negative effects, such as stunned? I don't think so. I believe it only heals, and since I can't attack myself with it, I figured I'd heal someone else. Quote
Sandy Posted November 16, 2011 Author Posted November 16, 2011 Does the healing staff work on negative effects, such as stunned? No, those can only be fixed by a Remedy and some of the skills belonging to advanced classes. Speaking of which, here are the pictures of the last three advanced classes: I just had to get these out before Pandora hits level 15. Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Speaking of which, here are the pictures of the last three advanced classes: Looking good! Hey Atramor! He stole your hat! Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Evoker huh? I like the way that sounds. Thanks Sandy! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Once the loot has been distributed, how will the party proceed? Will Haldor accept Ameli's...challenge? What will Jess think? Can the orc camp be located? Will the last child be saved?! To discover the answers to these questions and more, stay tuned! This blows all the life altering choices offered by the other QM's out of the water. Poor Haldor, if only he hadn't signed up for the Wolfgang quest, En Sabeh Nur's humor seems to follow him where ever he goes In other news, the final class choices are looking great, I had wondered about the rogue/barbarian mix but the raider makes sense. Now I can't wait to see all the stats. Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I hate you Jeb, I will burn you for this! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 (edited) The least he could have done is make it a permanent level increase. Ah well, lovers are over-rated in anyways, ask Skrall, there's a reason he left home. Edited November 16, 2011 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 He did give me a card which, when used, levels me up and makes the gnome 'good condition'. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 (edited) Oh I guess that makes more sense, I thought that "expires at the end of the quest" meant you lose your level increase at the end sort of like you lose the encouraged effect from a mead once a battle has ended, I guess I'll leave it for Jeb to clarify. What does V stand for anyway? Edited November 16, 2011 by Waterbrick Down Quote
