swils Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) Swils, if you still need it, I can do it tomorrow, I have the pieces. That'd be great, Scuba. If the totem becomes an issue (I know the short chain I used was from a newer ninjago set, not my usual turf), don't sweat it too much--just having an avatar of Thormana with a properly covered chest, and hair w/hood down, would be great! I can do everything but the weapon, should be ready tomorrow. I'll see if I can recreate one of your other weapons, or if I get lucky I might find the parts to make that totem after all. EDIT: Whoops. Forgot about the head change. Don't have that face, sorry. No worries, I still appreciate the offer! It's an older head, I think it made its way into my collection through my younger brother, as I was just entering middle school (and my early dark ages) in '00, so a big castle set would make more sense as having been a birthday gift (or similar) for him at the time. Didn't Thormanil become a Shaman to keep people in good health or something? To keep his friends in good health! I don't recall him ever caring much for horny little snitches Edit: @Scuba, any chance you've got the parts to make a werewolf version as well? I never picked up any lupine 'fig heads. Closest I've got is an army of CMF Minotaurs. That torso works pretty well for a shirtless beast-man, and there's enough of a color difference between the torso and brown legs I've been using on Thormanil that hopefully I wouldn't end up with a second (seemingly) indecent version of Thormanil.. heh. That is, unless Jeb wouldn't mind making an exception for Thormanil. Being a shaman and all, perhaps he can influence the spell -just- enough to take on the appearance of a minotaur? Bovinethropy, that can be a thing, right? Edited June 13, 2012 by swils Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Back for an our or so. Our rip has been busy, we were going to go on a hike but it's pouring outside, so on for a little bit and most catching up with stuff in the hall. Quote
Palathadric Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I, also, have wondered what is going on with Sloop. Which reminds me. Where the devil is Daxus. Haven't seen him around the hall recently. Quote

It could be mask of the beast man. Each mask was originally an artefact that had an ability attached like +ether, hp etc. but I thought that was too much. The Weredog was supposed to be Werehound with the ability to one time only make a hollow blade or use two items at once (or something like that) but the idea was scrapped. I saw it wasn't the werehound minifig face after I created the image so changed it to include werewolves. /shrug Beast man would be better. Quote

The group of heroes walk into the underground vault. Suddenly, an anvil drops out of nowehre and falls on Pretzel, curshing him into a fine paste! Monk pretzel has died! Sorrow rejoices. Quote

I'll get a Were-manil picture up sometime tonight. Trying to decide the best format for displaying the 3 pictures, have a few ideas. Quote

The better question is why is commander Nikolai not helping, despite being a military officer? I smell a traitor... Quote

Tanma Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Okay, if you want De'kra's help here is a hint. De'kra is a character of Bionicle right? And Bionicle is an action adventure series of heroes, evildoers, mysteries, and all the classic trimmings. And thus by the power of fiction, he can be manipulated by the epic power of dramatic speeches. Use what you know of his past , his prior quests, and De'kra's motives to convince him to help through a speech forged in Lego. Of course it can only be in game knowledge, but Xander has been in two quests with De'kra so he might know a lot, and the others have had time to see him interact, and might be able to figure out what is going on here. So yeah, do something with that. Or die, that should get him helping. He will be handicapped if he helps, but still. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 When an enemy is Blinded, does "cannot use physical attacks" mean that it can deal Special Damage but not Damage, or that if it doesn't use magic to attack, it can't deal Damage at all? If it's the latter, the Chaos Beast of Dastan can't hurt anyone while Blinded, but if it's the former, there are a couple players that can be instantly Knocked Out if they roll Special Damage II. Quote
CMP Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Blinded only applies to Damage. Sealed applies to Special Damage. Quote

They can deal Special Damage, yes. I'm working on an in-character explanation of our options. Since Specials 1 and 2 are affected by Row, if everyone moves to the Back Row for this round, no one can be knocked out, and most of us can still deal normal damage even in the Back Row. Quote

You are taking your roleplaying too far by demanding that other players beg and grovel in front of your character. Nobody likes self-proclaimed divas. If you have that kind of an attention-seeking attitude towards playing this game, I'm pretty sure QMs will stop picking you into their quests. I sure won't choose you, not with that kind of behaviour. Quote

Nobody likes self-proclaimed divas. If you have that kind of an attention-seeking attitude towards playing this game, I'm pretty sure QMs will stop picking you into their quests. I sure won't choose you, not with that kind of behaviour. Woah, calm down. I am pretty sure we were all having a good time and no one was stressed, and I am not sure you understood the context. I was not trying to hold my involvement over their heads at all, it just made no sense in-character for him to attack. I was offering a way in-character for him to interfere. I can't break character, and helping without a ghreater cause to help would do so. If you recall in Quest 30, something bad happened in a battle, and De'kra flashed back to a group from his past. He has a distaste for violence at the moment, and way back in Quest 20 it was established that he has a fondness for birds. And I was already participating in the fight, just not directly. You know, I am a somewhat socially awkward person, so I apologize if I caused a misunderstanding. I wanted to help, but since De'kra couldn't I was trying to create an escape clause. I had figured it won't be begging at all, it might have even been calling De'kra out on not helping his team. So I am sorry for confusion. But wasn't it a bit early to jump at my throat?
