Flipz Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Um and Flipz, why the hell did you try to eat him? That's my problem. See my earlier question. I had to do it, I just can't figure out why. I'll take Zepher's advice and see what I come up with afterwards. In other news, due to the need for some specific parts I probably won't have my "secret project" ready until after May the Fourth, I need to pick up a couple sets then. Quote
Tanma Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 You have just made my day Flipz and Doc. The whole arm-eating thing and fire-dragging. Um and Flipz, why the hell did you try to eat him? ...What? Okay, I should make a note to avoid Arthur when he is hungry. I really want to know what is happening there now, it sounds crazy. All that is happening in Quest 29 is that our luck just took a turn for the worse, and De'kra is hearing a familar voice in his head. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Still sounds better than in Quest 26, we are fighting overpowered rainbow worms that give us no loot, AFTER we defeated the big dragon. Just joking, loving the quest Xarzann! Quote
Palathadric Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 An elf Evoker sits down at the bar, on her left is Monk Pretzel. Somehow, she hadn't noticed the charming Warden sitting on her right side... "Hey Alexis, if I were you, I'd keep any gold or snack food that you want to not get stolen under good watch, that's the infamous Pretzel the Monk you're sitting next to. I was Quest Leader in his first quest... oh boy, did he give me a headache! Also be careful that he doesn't try to convert you in the process of stealing your money." Was Alexis talking to me? Ooo, I'm infamous now! Quote
K-Nut Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Was Alexis talking to me? Ooo, I'm infamous now! Are there any other guys in brown cloaks in the hall? Well there's Thormnail, but he's easily forgettable. Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Thormnail Huh? I don't think there's a Hero called Thormnail..... *Checks list of Heroes*....Nope. No Thormnail. That would be hilarious, though. Quote
Masked Builder Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Flipz, you're going to get everything taken away from you if you keep playing like that. Was Alexis talking to me? Ooo, I'm infamous now! Sure am, wanna reply to that? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I'm sorry, I guessed I missed something, but I'm confused in Quest 31. Can someone tell me about this Count Knyghton business and why the party is mad at each other or something? Quote

Flipz Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 It's just Flipz's roleplaying. More accurately, it's because Arthur tortured and then ate that Rebel. Unless someone asks about Arthur's backstory, I think I've done all my setup now. The only difference is that Count Knyghton no longer trusts Arthur, and Arthur's all...emo moody now. That may have been one of the strangest scenes I've ever had to play. Quote

What...the...Karzahni... ...Okay there probable is a rational for this. I also best plan out every possible reaction De'kra might have, for when he (and I) finds out. Odds are he is not going to be pleased. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Sorry Flipz, Skrall's an ogre of action, maybe if they get tossed in a jail cell, things will work themselves out in terms of Arthur's backstory, but there is a task at hand. Quote

It's OK, I'm just glad I actually came up with an explanation for everything that actually tries to tie in to Arthur's existing backstory. Although, the more I look into it, the more messed-up I find out he is. And honestly, I'm extremely pleased with how Skrall's been playing this, it really helps me keep this story going without turning completely into Spider-Man 3 Peter Parker. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Arthur followed, quiet and obedient, lost in thought. Great, their goes the easiest Party leader job yet. Skrall had it easy when Arthur was coming up with all the ideas. Now that he's mummed up, Skrall has to put his thinking cap back on. Quote

Palathadric Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Sure am, wanna reply to that? I thought you may be talking to Dyric, although he hasn't been at the hall too recently. Monk Pretzel was not actually sitting at the bar, a bit to close to the orcish woman...you know. ...Anyway. Quote

Palathadric Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 That's takin' over. Look, I'm not backing out of the Quest but, if any of you think I can't be trusted, I understand if you want to leave me behind, or tie me up or something. I'd do the same in your position. Yeah! Get Arthur out of the quest! Leave him behind! Monk Pretzel will take his place. Picky, picky, picky. That's me. Quote
Darkdragon Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I have edited it. Sorry, just could not think of a name that would work for a castle setting. Next time, try a name generator: http://www.seventhsanctum.com/index-name.php http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/ Quote
Tanma Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Noooo! It's all my fault! If only I hadn't suggested that plan, they would still be alive! Now De'kra will have to angst about this later, once he realizes who was knocked out. Quote

Flipz Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 OOC: I should have 1908 gold Holy. Freakin'. Heck. Dude, you could upgrade Zoot's Reaper to something like WP: 16 with that, and still have enough Gold to upgrade all your throwing weapons to WP:6! Quote
