Tanma Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) Dear Guts, Your tap is off. You owe me the price of 265 alcoholic beverages, 32 chicken wings, three whole roasted pigs and a vat of grapes. Sincerely yours, ~Scheherazade Thank goodness De'kra never eats and drinks anything in the hall. Still, best not anger her since he could be thus seen as loitering... By the way, one of the earliest rumors involved her son, will that ever pay off? Edited February 14, 2012 by Tanma Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Truly yours, Guts Holla, Shooter of kneecaps. "I've got Z-mail!" With arrows I presume! Quote
Sandy Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 By the way, one of the earliest rumors involved her son, will that ever pay off? No, it never will. I just added the rumor for the heck of it. ...Just kidding, of course it will. Sham has already appeared in the Test Quest as well as had a cameo in Quest#6. He will be introduced to the vast public in one of my current quests (depending on if the questers will run into him, that is). Quote
Tamamono Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This is hilarious; De'kra's making Tomas give him 'the talk'. With arrows I presume! Stole my line! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 a cameo in Quest#6. Was he in the amazing market scene? Where I amazingly spotted Donny within five minutes on my first try. Quote
Tanma Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 It appears that the rare Monkey Cheetah has apeared in quest 15. This incrediably unique creature is a feline who has taken to trees as others do land. While neither cheetah or monkey, it gets this mname because of the cheetah like speed it has in the canopy, and its keen primate like intellect. However it is much closer to an ocelot than either of them. Native to the lands of the Metasimians, these Monkey Cheetahs are often used as pets for the elite. Their main diet is made of lemur-rats, though Monkey Cheetahs in turn fear the shadows of the draco bats. Although not good for their diet, some Monkey Cheetahs will also eat fermented berries. Aside from that madness Monkey Cheetahs are quite intelligent, and have a complex language of tail-flicks and hisses. Monkey Cheetahs will frequently use simple tools as well, like simplistic boomerangs. As of yet their conservation status is unknown. Poor Tomas. Quote

Palathadric Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) Problem solved. Also, Capt.johnPaul, you may want to check out what I just sent Pretzel... (link, Link 2, Link 3A, Link 3B) Not so fast Flipz. I have written three outcomes to your sending me the letter, only one of which involves a "success" on your part. Flipz Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Not so fast Flipz. I have written three outcomes to your sending me the letter...four actually, only one of which involves a "success" on your part. Ah, you forget, it's the QM's decision on whether or not the thing activates when you read it... Quote
K-Nut Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Althior sent Abraxas a fine looking note, and he signed off on it real well! I see Leo sent me a love letter too. Quote

Palathadric Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Ah, you forget, it's the QM's decision on whether or not the thing activates when you read it... But if I never get it...that's a different story. Quote
Flipz Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) But if I never get it...that's a different story. That's why I gave Valentine her own copy. She gets one, Pretzel gets one, simultaneous Explosive Runes for the win! Edited February 14, 2012 by Flipz Quote

Palathadric Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 That's why I gave Valentine her own copy. She gets one, Pretzel gets one, simultaneous Explosive Runes for the win! I don't think so. She would be long gone before mine ever gets to me. And when she goes she will take both Explosive Runes down with her. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Ello, mates! I'm Rone, you may or may not have heard of me. I was a bit of a strategist in my day. I'm also good at motivation. You say you've been facing losses? Good thing you ran into me. Heroes, look at your men. Now back at me. Now back to your men, now back at me. Sadly, they aren't me, but if they stopped using that pathetic training manual and listened to Mr. Rone for a bit, he could look like he's me. Anything is possible when you men look like soldiers and not ladies! I love those lines, I'll have to remember them! Just so peeps know, Haldor isn't unintelligent, quite the opposite in fact, just never learnt to write properly. Maybe Althior can soon have and apprentice and a literacy pupil! Quote
Jebediahs Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Patricia looks hawt JimB Did the 100g for the captain come from the 1000gold reward or was it a separate money pouch that came from thin air? Quote
Zepher Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Hybros saved the party in Quest 7 due to his height. I forgot I included that. I love Hybros. What a fun game mechanic Sandy!! I need to wait for Sisco to post the next round of combat before I send any letters, I want to see how I do, and if it would make sense to send them, though I have a few people for Boomers to talk to. He's like De'kra in reverse. De'kra has terrible spoken grammar and lexicon, while his written language is perfectly understandable. Quote

Hehe, thanks! Perhaps Nur should send her a letter when he gets back. Yes, the gold was taken out of your reward. 1,000 isn't evenly divisible by 6, anyway. I forgot I included that. I love Hybros. Capt.JohnPaul Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Alexandre's new look is ready, and will play an essential part if his character development. Quote
Tanma Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Speaking of Wren, if she can hack into the network, why isn't she using it to talk to the heroes of quest 7 that aren't on her current quest? For that matter she can use it to mess with any hero she wants, like those spammers but with personal messages. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 It was time to bathe.[/i] I already did... She's mine Nur... Quote
Zepher Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I actually was considering her sending quick notes to those heroes that she particularly favored... And again, don't go assuming you know what Wren is up to all the time. I'm afraid that you'll be rather disappointed with some of her motives, as you have come up with so many cool theories as to what she's truly up to. Quote
