@Palathadric @Kintobor - what's the point of throwing the smoke bomb?  The party has already KO'd several enemies, and the Town Watch and Paladins aren't going to stop.  The only way to get the 2 out is to win the battle.

EDIT: Sorry, but I don't agree a few players should be able to hijack the battle for their role playing purposes.  This should definitely be put to a vote before it's done.

I don’t agree with someone being able to hijack the role playing for their battle purposes. 

 

I don’t really have a side in this but this conversation can be carried out in character too.

Exactly.  That's why I said a vote.  And I'm not sure why we are trying to win 'hearts and minds' of people who don't care.  

Maybe I need to go back and re-read, but every chance at peace and talking was balked at.  Besides, who says the Town Watch and Paladins represent the city?...

Maybe some of the PC's don't want to kill some of their friends from past quests.

I had a problem with ex-Dragoon's simply dropping their dragons at the dragon daycare, but did anybody listen to me then?

It made sense story-wise when it happened.  I was above level 50 (I think), and we were in Dastan with Vipera, a small dragon Hoke saved in one of his earlier quests.  We had met the dragon enclave earlier in the quest.  I want to say it was the Around the World quest.

Heroica was basically daycare for Petaldan and a few other heroes, I believe.

Thanks for being understanding folks, I had a great aunt pass away and she introduced me to and encouraged me in theater and by extension role-playing. We should be back on track for normal updates. I've got to say this quest has been amazing thus far and I'm so looking forward to when the parties start overlapping!

I'm sad to say my reason for not being active these last few days is because my grandmother passed away recently and I had to take some time off for a while. And in response to WBD, I'm sorry for your loss, I think I can say that I understand how you feel.
