I guess my question to everyone is: How did you find out about Heroica RPG or what drew you too it?

I had just started visiting the Mafia games section and thought it would be a fun game to pass the time. Who knew I would become so obsessed?

I'd just joined, and thought, eh, this looks like it could be amusing. Did I ever expect to have all the gems or a girlfriend in game?

Yes. No.

Here are De'kra's thoughts on the situation with Ellaria.

De'kra confuse of what wrong and Ellaria. Maybe she play and poison ball? De'kra know villagers who play and poison balls that got very sick. Why every hero look at De'kra oddly? The village was very in to sports, so evil had taint their equipment. I not see why you all look uncomfortable, all heroes have to enact find the ball that poison Ellaria and she get better.

...really this isn't surprising with his theories on Roam Ant Icism.

How did I find out about Heroica? I saw the test quest  and Pandora convinced me that it was fun to play. Having never been any good at mafia games I wasn't sure, but the difference with this game made it appealing. :sweet:

I wish I was on Quest 18. I would look after Ellaria. :classic:

It seems that I evoked your paternal instincts. I think Ellaria will be just fine on her own, though.

Well, once upon a time there was a Dragonlord who wanted to create an RPG for the games forum on EB, and he wanted to base it on D&D for which I was able to provide him with lots of reference material. I think this was back in 2010 some time, maybe even 2009. Long story short that project never took off, in part I think because everyone was thinking too complicated. Then Sandy came up with something refreshingly simple and nice based on TLG's Heroica games and Munchkin. Unfortunately I didn't get to participate in the test quest (for some really silly reason, like that I should be busy with hosting a mafia game or something, complete nonsense.), but I commented on it a little bit, only thing of mine that had any real impact though was the tier system for levelling after winning battles. So remember, when you're annoyed about only getting a half/third/quarter level for every battle won you may curse my name.

Tonight on a very special episode of Heroica Hall...

...so on another note, I decided to join Heroica for a number of reasons. Bszpower was still down, and I needed a place to find Bionicle MOCs and speculation. This brought be to Eurobricks, though I didn't join at first because I wanted to test the water. (a lot more gets past the censors than Bzpower) While I looked through steam punk creations and Biomicle inventions, I came upon Heroica. After reading a bit of the first three quests I became interested, and joined Eurobricks in order to play. My original character was going to be a bat, but that was rejected by virtue of not being humanoid. (prejudice bipeds) So instead I came up with a new character, and thus the legend of De'kra was born. And I am much happier with him than I would be with a bat. (although I still would like a bat sidekick for De'kra)

This quest will be interesting. Me and Alisha have insulted the Monk, Olinn and the monk do not get on, and me and Alisha have had a fight.

Not to mention 2 rangers.

Yeah, should be interesting and fun. Let's see what kind of force we will make together.

"Nice kitty," smiled Monk Pretzel uneasily.

I wish I could send you to Hell fire and damnation now! he thought, thankfully not aloud, already he had met with more animosity than he had anticipated.

Such an ungodly crowd, he mused. Perhaps it will be easier to convert our enemies than our "friends".

"Don't worry," he said turning to Olinn, deciding to use tact over force. "I am a very nice person...once you convert...although a gold coin or two does the job nicely as well."

He shrugged and looked hopefully over at Olinn

Don't post in the hall while you are on a quest palathadric.

Ooops, sorry, I forgot about that.

On another topic: we are quite a newbie team heading out on this quest, aren't we? Half of us are level 1 fellows, too bad Mibbiwocket couldn't be chosen as well. That would've been fun.

I got into Heroica, because I like playing RPGs on the computer. I've always loved the Elder Scrolls and stuff like that. When I first joined a Lego fan site/forum, it was classic-castle. The time I was there, they had an RPG going on. I joined it, but after a while the thing kind of died out. So, in 2008, after being an EB member for 3 years already, I decided to start my own RPG, based on the classic-castle one. Eurobricks Roleplaying Game was very different to the one now. Looking back at it now, I'm glad Sandy started Heroica, 'cuz it's some much better and more streamlined than what I had come up with  . I also followed the Test Quest and I looked like great fun, so I immediatly made a character and joined ASAP :sweet: .
