Cutcobra Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 "You are correct, we have to be cautious. If we kill the Triffid while my husband is inside it, we might end up fatally wounding him as well." "YEEESSSS" Says Heckz. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I'm not addicted. I can stop hosting whenver I like. No, really... "YEEESSSS" Says Heckz. Ooh, how much longer does #130 have on it? Imagine having Lind, Jinnipher, and Heckz on a quest together.... That'd either be hilarious...or a nightmare. Quote
Endgame Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Hey, Lind, listing sign ups is my job. Edited November 11, 2015 by Endgame Quote
Palathadric Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 What I read: I'm not in love with my bosses. I can kill them off whenver I like. No, really for good... Quote
Endgame Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 What I read: Every person or monster my questees have ever encountered in a boss fight is currently dead, soooo... What's your point? Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 "What's this?! What are you, pussies?" Ugh. This just reminds me of that "You may want a good girl but you need a bad pussy." from Game Of Thrones. Do we need modern day slang on characters who clearly seem like medieval warriors? (I accept it on more modern/sci-fi looking characters like Bobby Bucks, though) Quote

(I accept it on more modern/sci-fi looking characters like Bobby Bucks, though) Yeah, that was a horrible line from Game of Thrones. More so I thought on the delivery, but that's another story. Although the first recorded use, albeit the longer form, was used as early as the 15th century. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pusillanimous http://www.thefreedictionary.com/pusillanimous Quote

I always thought it was one of the modern curses (don't live in america/uk/australia). Thanks for informing me, though! Quote

Thanks for informing me, though! Yes and no. It's derived from the word, although I think it may have been used in short form starting around the same time. Of course it's slang for a few other things, somehow all related. I'm not a entymology person so don't hold me to these completely, just going off what I've read at various points. Quote
Sandy Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 My apologies, I have a busy few days ahead of me, so updates will continue on Saturday. Quote
Zepher Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Hey y'all! Busy few days ahead of me. Today is my birthday, so after these posts I'll probably be out partying (or getting the work done I need to get done before partying). Then Saturday is my school's one and only big football game, so probably some more drinking and no posts. Sunday I'm shooting a movie until around 4, so updates should come a bit later into the evening that day. Quote

Zepher Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Kind of. I'm still in college, but it's not for college. Quote
