Palathadric Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I had a dream last night that I was chosen to join the Unlimited Quest (weird huh, thats the first time I've dreamt about heroica ) and then when I wake up I see that Benji wasn't chosen! Apparently it wasn't a prophetic dream No worries. By Level 50 you'll be able to get real prophecies. I see that you are a Grand Duke now. Congrats and welcome to the club. I fought long and hard, but I've arrived. Now I die that there are no more worlds to conquer. Quote

Palathadric Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Not sure yet. I'm still not sure if I have all my equipment together the way I want it. Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Note: I will be gone for all of Saturday most likely. But no worries, I will be back. Quote
CMP Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Sorry for the delay. Not feeling fantastic at the moment. But the next party's up to bat in the Fields, and I'm interested to see how these challenges work out. Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 They certainly are a welcome addition! I feel as if some may be easily exploitable, though. Quote
Flipz Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I think Death awards too much of a multiplier for what it is. Even at the tougher levels, a party could easily clear a good chunk of the Fields normally or with easier challenges, and then come back to an Easy-difficulty battle and enable Death for a quick +60 GP. I'd say swap it with one of the lower 2.x* or one of the higher 1.x* challenges. Also, Close Combat offers a pitifully low multiplier for what it is. Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Exactly. A tonf of them are easily exploitable in the easier areas. Quote
CMP Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Exactly. A tonf of them are easily exploitable in the easier areas. I'd have to remove a tonf of them if I wanted to make it 100% foolproof. If the party wants to work that hard for it, so be it. There's only five easy areas anyway. Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) Also: Just sent in another quest to Sandy for those who want to breathe some fresh air outside the hall. 2 battles, 1 miniboss - Pretty short quest. Edited October 18, 2013 by Endgame Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Also: Just sent in another quest to Sandy for those who want to breathe some fresh air outside the hall. 2 battles, 1 miniboss - Pretty short quest. With Shadeaux rep?!?! Quote
Endgame Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) No rep, unfortunately - unaffiliated with the major houses. It's just a short gaiden, though, so if you just want to squeeze a quick quest in, it should fit in nicely. Also, it involves one of my more preferred NPCs, who happens to be the second in command of a Town Watch subsidiary... Edited October 18, 2013 by Endgame Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Yes! I'm in the Fields! I'll post there shortly, I've had a super busy day! ~Insectoid Aristocrat! Quote
Palathadric Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 So that would make the Corn Maze or Apple Orchard good places to start, eheh. Does this sound good to everyone? Ehehm..." Apple Orchard for me. Corn Maze has 0 in the way of loot. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 The first post of the Training Room is a nightmare to load for me with all the pictures. Just wondering if either Battle Mages or Evokers can Meditate. Quote
Sandy Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 The first post of the Training Room is a nightmare to load for me with all the pictures. Just wondering if either Battle Mages or Evokers can Meditate. Sorry. When I originally thought of posting rules as pictures rather than text, I didn't take into account that not everyone has a fast internet connection. We're pretty much pampered by fast connections in my country... Would people rather see the job classes posted as plain text? Quote
Chromeknight Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Would people rather see the job classes posted as plain text? I'd suggest as well as rather than instead of. The advantage is plain text can be cut and pasted too. Quote
