Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Namyrra sold a gem to Elphaba since no one in the hall seemed to want it. ^ Yep, this. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 "Hmm." The Copper Fox ponders for a bit. "You wouldn't be intrigued in black knight, would you?" "Not with the armour, no. That and their all a bunch of jerks." Karie responds. Considering that we only have 3 of them and that one is an ex-paladin, the other is a gentleman rogue, and the other a kind and considerate vampire, I find that humorously harsh. Quote
Endgame Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Their shield special is called "Arrogant Prick." Case closed. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Isn't Sarge a Black Knight ? Point taken, but had Karie met Sarge before going witch? Edited July 9, 2013 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Namyrra sold a gem to Elphaba since no one in the hall seemed to want it. Oh, right. I do only vaguely remember that now that you mention it. November of 2011? Wow, that was Elphaba's first visit, right? I didn't realize how early it was in the game that gems had been devalued such that someone had an extra that no one wanted. I thought it was at least a few months after that time. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 It was because Alexandre was pressuring Karie to spill the guts on what happened in 56 and Karie couldn't take it. He's the only black knight she's met, but it's still justified if you know Karie as a character and the fact she sucks at dealing with her emotions. Quote
Scorpiox Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Meh, I don't mind. 50 gold is half of the retail price and therefore what I consider resale price. And anyway, Alexandre is Haldor's friend. Quote

And Sarge is... I don't know what Sarge is. I'll just say; Sarge is different. Any psycological observations/trope links would be much apreciated Edited July 9, 2013 by Pyrovisionary Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Karie Alderflask (Played by Kintobor) 22 year old Human Witch, lvl 15.5 Karie returns to the hall, feeling more devious now that she could use the scroll she acquired in Brendenton. And on the topic of other things, Trade Routes will start in about 8 hours. ~Insectoid Newtomancer Edited July 9, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 QM Note: Welcome to this quest! I can promise you that it will be short, but tough as hell. You are probably the strongest party to date, and I'm going to make you even stronger for the purposes of this quest. You have 35 more "Stars" to beat, and none of the remaining ones are mere cannon-fodder, so prepare yourselves for an ultimate challenge. I like the soiund of this quest very, very much, Sandy. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Meet: The medic: The Pyro: The heavy: The demoman: The scout: The Soldier: Da Da Da Da Dadadada Daaaaaaa.... Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Sadly, I'll be another 3 hours with the Quest. Sorry folks. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Sadly, I'll be another 3 hours with the Quest. Sorry folks. Are you on the West Coast or something? I'm wondering how late you stay up. Especially with Endgame in 48, where you were getting things done, at like, midnight. And Endgame is East Coast, which means if you were West Coast, you'd be way past midnight. You should get some sleep. Quote

You should get some sleep. I'm on the East Coast of the good ol' US of A, where it's about 9:16 at the moment. I should have the Quest up before midnight. I usually stay up until 1 or 2 AM and wake up at 6:30 AM (unless I can sleep-in, in which case I wake up anywhere from 9AM to 3 PM, usually around 11 or 12). I have sleep problems... or, rather, lack of sleep problems. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Tachyon Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Now I really want the Libra Signet......... If only there was a quest to enter the Wolf's Den and steal it back. Quote
Sandy Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 William sees Quest 77.He decides to sign up for it even though he has Quested with the Lion Knights. Fred Daniel Yam, you cannot sign into a quest if you're already in one. You've been chosen into Dannylonglegs' quest (#76) - as the party leader on top of that. Did you not notice that? Quote
Palathadric Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Hilarious! William has really been dozing off, huh? Ooh! Dual Strike weapon! Crap. I had already planned a proposal for those as soon as I got back from my quest. I was so excited to see them up for sale for much cheaper than I would've offered. But they probably make much more sense in your hands since Shamens have more worthwhile hits than Paladins...sort of. Edited July 10, 2013 by Palathadric Quote
Zepher Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That is, HANDS DOWN, my favorite round I've ever run. No one correct me. I don't care if it's wrong. I will plug my ears and sing la la la. I think its all correct, but if it's not... shhh. Just sh. Don't you want that round the way it is? Quote
Endgame Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 You mean the round where your party nuked itself wasn't your favorite? Quote

Zepher Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) They do have the amulets. I hope they save them for later. My party nuking itself was also a pretty awesome round. I think my favorite battle ever, however, was the floor battle. I just loved it. And I'll be back in the Hall soon, Arnulf, don't you worry. Boomingham always slinks away after particularly harsh quests. Edited July 11, 2013 by Zepher Quote
The Legonater Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Ooh! Dual Strike weapon! Pyrovisionary has given me a slight distaste for dual-strike weapons. Quote

Perhaps you might want to consider reserving items over PM in future to avoid this kind of disappointment. Quote
