kkellar Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Is there a way to get models from Lego Universe into LDD? I've seen a lot of cool models in Lego Universe that I'd like to build with my kids. I could take screen shots and try and figure them out, but if there was a way to pull information from the local data LU has on my hard drive, it would be very easy to really see how the models are constructed. For example, the various pets in the LU game. I searched forum, but couldn't find a discussion related to this. Thanks in advance for any pointers or information on this topic! Quote
legolijntje Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) I don't know how to export the models, but someone has made the animals (and some other buildings) of LU in ldd. You can find them HERE Edited August 12, 2011 by legolijntje Quote
vynsane Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 If you open LDD right now and select the LEGO Universe building theme, the sidebar features four links that will import the faction animals: Assembly Saber-tooth Cat with a huge toothbruch, Paradox Alien with flying saucer, Sentinel Gryphon with a treasure chest, and Venture League Stegosaurus with palm tree. They're cute! Quote
treeboy Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 (edited) I haven't updated to 4.1.8 yet and I have the Cutter Chasis, Cutter Engine and Cutter Parts. Edit Oh! Sorry. Edited August 31, 2011 by treeboy Quote
vynsane Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 It's not in the sample models before you create a file, they're in the right-hand sidebar pane after you've opened it. Quote
