Mr. Elijah Timms Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 (edited) Are you a Wolfpack warrior at heart?? Then I need your help, my friends... I started a new line of t-shirt designs at Threadless.com, featuring some of your favorite torso designs from days gone by. The way the site works is, people have to 'score' the shirt, and if the design gets a favorable enough score, it will then be made into an actual production piece and made available for sale. So I need you guys to get over there and vote for the shirts, and if it all works out they'll be available for you to buy! I'd sincerely appreciate any help in getting my 'Blockman' line off the ground. Click here to view and vote for the Wolfpack tee! Click here to view and vote for the Forestmen tee! Additional shirts can be seen on the same page... I apologize to the admins if this isn't the proper place to promote these-- but I only have a limited amount of time before the voting is over, and just wanted to alert the community. Thanks everyone!! Edited August 10, 2011 by Mr. Elijah Timms Quote
de Gothia Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Really cool tshirts! One question though. Is Lego ok with tehese? After all, it´s their designs and if your shirt get´s to production another company will benefit from Legos designs.. Quote
JimBee Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Wow, those are awesome, Timms! I would definitely get the Wolfpack one. Quote
Quichybo Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Damn, I would definitely buy one when finding one at a shop. Even if the LEGO Group didn't allow this, they should pay you for the idea and sell these at LEGO-Land. It is a very cool design and idea! Quote
Gabe Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Finger's x'ed that you'll be allowed to print this design - i'd love to buy the wolfpack one! Quote
LandShark Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Making T-shirts of Lego torsos is a great idea! I'd love to see a classic space one in the future. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 Thanks for the kind words, my friends... unfortunately, the greater voting public at threadless.com looks to not get the idea, or just doesn't take too kindly to it. It seems doubtful that the shirts will get made, at least from that site. I have another site in mind that I can definitely guarantee production from, but they cannot allow me to print full-scale shirt graphics, only smaller sizes on each garment. I'll most likely be able to offer some of the Castle shield designs there, but the full torso concept may have hit a roadblock. Speaking of Castle shields, did I mention that I have a Black Falcons crest design ready to go? On a blue shirt. For whatever reason, the acceptance process at threadless ruled that the Black Falcons shield was 'too simplistic' of a design for their taste. At any rate-- thanks for the support and interest! Capt. Bluebeard Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Nice! I'd definitely go for the Wolfpack one! Any chance of a Fright Knights one? Bluebeard, out- Quote
Magnus the Great Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 That's a t-shirt I would like to have, along with black falcons, forestmen, crown knights, and the current lion and dragon knights. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 Hey guys... thanks for all your support! Of all the shirt designs, only the Wolfpack and the Forestmen torso tee are still open for one last day of voting. I'm not sure if they're gonna fly, but if I get one through it'll probably be much easier to promote future designs. To vote one last time, visit the shirt page here!! Thanks for all of your support! EB is obviously the greatest Lego community! Quote
