As good as the description is...and how great the pics are...they both pale to seeing this thing in person.

This was amazing to see at Brickfete...opened my eyes to seeing the world through MOC coloured glasses!!

Wow!

Thanks for all the great responses guys&gals!

For the local crew, I'm aiming to MAYBE have a new one out for the next show.

Looks at it and faints wakes back up only to faint again. This is awesome good job

You okay bud? Want me to send some LGM your way and help you up?

Another freaking and stunning MOC, i really like the Alien Conquest team and how you used the minifigs in the MOC. BIG thumbs UP!

THanks! I hope they come out with new AC aliens soon, I need some more 'helpers':grin:

I love it and the music for the viedo  This is great and I am looking forward to version 2

I can't wait for version 2.

Crap... I should have never said anything... now I've raised expectations for version 2

You could have posted this MOC and said F U, and I'd still be in love with it, but instead you give it a hilarious story and it's amazing to boot.

Fanfreakingtastic, a front page well deserved.

Thank you.

Hmmm. I'll keep your moc description suggestion in mind for my next post.

Wow, you really love building big, I just don't have the patience for such large builds, good for you! Love the colors and lighting and all the detail.

I like how you've used those Toy Story aliens as the underlings, works quite well. One thing, it might be nice to see the set be a bit more asymmetrical in design. Of course you'd want to keep the long assembly line corridor but maybe vary the placement and heights of the towers??? Just a minor nitpick... Keep up the good work! :classic:

I built this about a year and a half ago... I have learnt much since then but yes, I would do this very diffidently if I were to rebuild it - and I think you're absolutely right in doing more asymmetrical areas.

Ah, I didn't realize the thread was so old...
