Hello dears, I registered today to this forum that I read sometimes in order to share with you my interest in legos, mainly the brickfilms, that I consider some form of film making.

These days I made a lego movie you can watch here :

I really loved to do it, and I wish make others.

How the heck did you do that?

It's all CG, I'm not crazy about the super odd and generic looking fig's, but the CG work is outstanding.

Now I have not enough material to seriously consider making a lego movie with scenery, lighting, camera quality, but I think I will do it one day. Meanwhile I use Blender, which is a 3d free software that allows me to accurately reproduce the real minifig motion, without adding joints as you can see in any videos. This way I can start to learn lego filmmaking without spending money, it's my first goal. I think I'll do three or four movies more this way, and after that ... maybe I will buy material in order to start real stop motion learning.
