QQS Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) Hello there! Firstly, I'm pleased I used some tan technic and bionicle pieces, which most people think as unuseful. Secondly - let's start with presentation! BRICKSHELF DEVIANART FlickR MAJHOST (wip) Accurate specification of tank. Due to small length Lothar is quite fast and responsive. Very good for desert missions. One good canon is enought for fighting. Cockpit: Pilot can anytime open the hatch to see what's going outside. Soldiers could easily go in/ out into/out (e.g. it's possible to put two Atlantis divers with fully equipments). Tools could be easily storaged in front glove compartment. The engineers created very easy but worth to pay attention modular system. It's very easily to get the canon off the tank and putt something other. I'd like to thank Legate Scimitar for inspiration, BobofrutX for doping and Morderczy Groszek for some nice ideas. You're great! Enjoy! Edited August 2, 2012 by QQS Quote
brickmack Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Oooh nice. Not very often I see TECHNIC scifi stuff. Good use of the mask of the cannon. I like the specs pic also. Quote
QQS Posted August 7, 2011 Author Posted August 7, 2011 Thank you brickmack for comment! I'm really pleased you liked the idea of mixing technic and system into one MOC :) BTW Some people don't believe that canon works, but it really does! Quote
wokajablocka Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Looks like a nice little solid technic build. I like the look of the back. Always good to see a use for those Bionicle parts Quote
QQS Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 wokajablocka, my best success in this construction was using unused bionicle mask ;) If I had more wheels, I would make it longer. Thanks! Quote
Hollander Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 We don't see much technic Sci-Fi models these days, so I really like that you made on. It looks futuristic to me, nice. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Woh that's totally awesome. It's funny as a non technic/bionical guy it's kinda hard figuring out what the scale of that tank is... and when you popped it open and saw the minifig, i realized it was a lot bigger than it seemed! very cool moc with great play-ability features. I wish lego sold nice technic sets like this Quote
QQS Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 Thanks Hollander, I'm glad you like it ;) SI-mocs, If I had more tan parts and more Technic Treads I would make it much bigger :> Quote
thelegoguy Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 that is the best army tank iv'e ever seen , a pat on the back for you Quote
QQS Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 thelegoguy, thanks ;) If you wish to see a little movie-slideshow with Lothar and friends, go to the topic with Hyperbolis: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58787 Enjoy! Quote
