Big Cam Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Wow, both are outstanding. I may have never been to Japan but I get the feel of it from these MOC's. I love the interior design. I always am amazed at the interiors if the outsides look so good, you MOC'ers are like mini architects. Really great work, I want noodles now. Quote
Pingles Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 So much character, so many great details. Breathtaking! Quote
cimddwc Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Great! Great on the inside, on the outside, and the surroundings, too. (But Google says it should be "Douraku", not "Dourkau".) Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Awesome, the cooks, the interior, the crab on the front it's al: Quote
22kane Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Excellent detailing. I'm not big on Japanese structures but they can be quite tough to get down. You really did a great job with the architecture of the building and the interior details are perfect. This would definitely be a tough MOC to build. Great job!! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Excellent work. As with your other buildings, the roof is extremely well-done. The interior is nice and simple and works beautifully. Quote
Hinckley Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I am so impressed with this that I blogged it. Quote
sonicstarlight Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 A great build which compliments your previous one very well! Looking forward to seeing your future buildings. Quote
L@go Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I really like the way your buildings are instantly recognizable as Japanese. The shapes of those roofs aren't exactly Lego-friendly, but you pull it off beautifully. And the modularity of it all is also a very nice feature. Well done! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Another fantastically detailed creation 'ABear'. I really like this one (big fan of crab)! Excellent job! Quote

Larrynautik Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Excellent MOC, modular too, even the minifigs get some "japanese" style ! Quote
wokajablocka Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Love the chef and his cheese slope hat as well as people sitting down to eat the yummy sea food . So much detail. Quote
enrgie Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Love that sloping roof! How did you do it? Any chance you can share your technique? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 This is an outstanding creation! The architecture style is like the real! The chef is beautiful with his white slope on the head. The inner details are awesome! Quote
tomdobs55 Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Wow fantastic all the way around! I love the way you did the back garden seating and the riverfront looks great. Where do the crab elements come from? I don't think I've seen them before. Quote
enrgie Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Please share the sloping roof technique Andybear. Quote
andybear@hk Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Really thanks for all of your comments For the roof technique, I had use this in all of my Japanese and Chinese buildings creation. Only use the 2x plate and some 1x1 or 1x2 plate to brick the sharp of the roof top. I like to use this way is because of "plate" is easy to find and it can build iin diffeent sharp Quote
