Endigo Vandane Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I had an idea for a spaceship and wanted to put a speederbike on board. But because of the size and shape of that ship, the bike would have to be really tiny. It's not always easy to build small so the solution was simple: build a bike that can fold up. I liked the result so much, I built a whole bunch of them. Presenting: The Dyson Series Brickshelf Gallery Hope you like them. I've got other types as well. I will be putting those online when I have taken pictures of them. Quote
mutley777 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 i really like these! they are great! :-D Quote
xenologer Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Im not a biker fan but those are very nice. With the exception of the handlebar parts, they look like they can be created in LDD Factory. Any plans for mass production? Quote
Kahgarak Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Wow!Great job,the fact that those can fold up is quite cool. I might build one, once we get instructions. Quote
Endigo Vandane Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 I'll see if I can get some construction pics. Never tried that before, so be patient. Meanwhile, there are two new bikes on show. Med-Bike Gallery I built Med-Bike1 because I wanted a bike that didn't have such a heavy nose. Than came the idea to put it onboard a spacecraft. But it didn't fold up enough so I made Med-Bike2. And because that would go into disaster areas it needed to be more rugged. Enjoy. Quote
xenologer Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 The first one looks uncomfortably like a speeder bike from StarWars but the second version has to be the best one of all so far! Quote
KimT Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Nice work. Those are cool and would fit a future LEGO town perfect. Keep it up *y* *y* KimT Quote
dillthepill Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Those are cool. *y* *y* I like how you did a variety of colors and I like the white ones too. Keep creating. ;-) Quote
Endigo Vandane Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 With the exception of the handlebar parts, they look like they can be created in LDD Factory. I might build one, once we get instructions. I thought I'd kill a bird with two stones and try to make the Dysons in LDD Factory. The result can be seen here. The basic instructions are there for the download (if anyone's interrested). Build it (or them) in your favourite colors and change the look of the nose and back. For inspiration see the link in the first post. As Xenologer wrote, the handlebar is not available in Lego Factory. Other parts I had to leave out were the droid arms (safety bars) on the side. Make sure to add them, otherwise it won't pass the safety trails. ;-) Quote
moogly Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 These are really nice. I like the rest of your stuff too some of those ships are amazing. Quote
