As reported yesterday on this Brothers Brick article:

"4-wide microscale RC DAF truck runs on Power Functions"

"Robert H. (Robiwan_Kenobi) manages to fit a PF motor, RC receiver, and battery box into this fully self-contained DAF truck:

Robiwan_Kenobi wrote on his Flickr photostream:

"Remote controlled DAF XF with EuroCombi trailer"

"This project was a real challenge and takes much time for developing. Now this little 4 studs wide DAF is equipped with LEGO Power Functions and you can control it with the LEGO IR Remote Control Unit. It wasn't easy to arrange and hide all the PF components and cables!

"Due to the small size of the truck, you can't require perfection: the DAF drives slow and steers too fast and rough. The micromoter is a little powerless, that is why the truck only steers on some plain surfaces.

"The colours of the truck are the same like the Power Functions components to advertise its hidden abilities.

"Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is the narrowest (4 studs) steerable and remote controlled LEGO vehicle I know, isn't it?

"Here a link to compare with an original DAF XF, [and] my other micro-scale trucks you can find here."

There is a video on The Brothers Brick webpage.

This must be the absolute most compact PF controlled models I've ever seen.

Sariel/ searme pointed out that his

also uses a compact Power Functions setup:
