Hinckley Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Blueandwhite, this MOC is amazingly detailed and simply beautiful! I really love all the detail you got inside the Great Hall and the other rooms. Even the inside of the battlements have so much great detail in there. I really appreciate what a full experience you have made this MOC. If I am to make any small suggestion for improvement, it would be to add some texture to the walls. I like the random off-color bricks, but I think some tiles on headlight bricks or some time of texture would improve the facade of the building. But it really is beautiful the way it is. Thanks for sharing. Quote
Teddy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Hi BlueandWhite! Finally we get to see your MOC project! I have been waiting for this for over two years! I was hoping all summer of 2009 for something to pop up. Your Brickmoor castle has been a huge inspiration to me in the past and I thoroughly enjoyed going trough the photos of this beauty. The shape is really unique and I love all the interior action. The interior detailing is really great. Thanks for sharing! Kind regards, Teddy Quote
Etzel Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I almost missed this (stupid summer hiatus of mine). Thanks Teddy for bumping the topic ;) Marvelous castle blueandwhite! That is a huge project you've been working on, I would love to try something like that myself but a number of factors makes that very unlikely to happen. I really admire the patience that it must have taken to work on such a big scale MOC. I often feel the need to finish my MOCs as fast as possible so I can take them down and start something new . I just sat and went through the Flickr album for at least half an hour, so many great details! I really look forward to see your take on an expansion on this project with a village and tourney ground etc. Good luck! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I missed this too, spend too much time in the town forum I do , anyway 'blueandwhite' it's a beautiful castle, with lots of detail and action going on. One day I might consider doing a castle MOC, I'll do my blacksmith one first to test my stonework building skills, which you have down-pat ! Brick On 'blueandwhite' ! Quote
