For those who don't know about bricktober magnets: please see here.

While searching for more info about series 6, i found this:

Will some people in the world be lucky again this year to get one of these astonishing figs for free when bying a few bucks of Lego? (Yes, it's yet another coplaint from a lesser - and much less fortunate - Lego market).

Wow, hope this is legit. I thought we were lucky to get a retro black falcon and imperial guardsman last year...if this is for real, I'm going to have to chase after all of these.

If these do get released I just hope they are not glued seeing that they are a magnet set and supposedly all the newer magent sets were supposed to be glued......

Nice. I usually don't attend Bricktober, but this could convince me.

If they are glued, you can remove them with the warm water method.

Looks legit to me too. Look at that fold on the bottom-right. Someone in the retail chain must have gotten their dirty little mitts on this early.

Question: were the 2010 bricktober magnets glued?

I'm interested in the forestman for nostalgic purposes and for the torso.

P.S. 1999 being referred to as "retro" makes me feel old.

Doesn't look fake to me, as these figures were already released through the vintage collection.

I am hoping the ninja is green, but that's probably wishful thinking. :classic:

I hope Toys r us is not going to make us spend lots of money to get those minifigs. Btw. last year minifigs during this event were glued ?

Thanks for the pic, they look great!

Last year, the magnets were not glued and you had to spend $25 if you lived in the US or $35 if you lived in Canada.

I really hope they are not glued this year, but who knows?

Confirmation! Excellent! TY Hartfan for sharing that (my LEGO magazines tend to ship later than most for some reason).

I can only hope the local TRU reopens before Bricktober happens, I expect it to but who knows (it's converting to a TRU/Babies R US by absorbing the next store space over on one side).

Want week 2 and week 3 ones for sure, maybe week 4 if I haven't blown my budget by then... :classic:

I'm going to finally pay attention and get a full set. I also saw this in the LEGO club magazine, it was the only useful bit of information in there.
