helos Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 (edited) Hi everyone, I posted some photos of one of my latest mocs. I tried to capture the shape of a French heavy shunter Vossloh class BB 60000. I used the lime green color which could be assimilable to the light green of the original one. To me is an appealing loco with this livery. grey front lime front other images: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=480307 ----- Edit from TheBrickster: Helos: try editing this post to see how to deeplink the image. L@go Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I spotted this on Brickshelf earlier today, and it's really nice. Would compliment my Lime Light quite nicely :) But here's a friendly tip for you: You're making your post so much more user friendly if you deeplink your pictures instead of just posting the link. You really should consider that. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 This is a great MOC! I love also your beautiful rolling stocks! Quote
roamingstop Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 (edited) Great mocs; great designs, and deeplinks would be ideal. But certainly a great inspiration. The lime green and light grey echo the BLS trains of Switzerland. Edited August 3, 2011 by roamingstudio Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Excellent shunter 'helos' and mix of lime green with light bluey grey is very nice ! Also cool rolling stock too ! Brick On 'helos' ! Quote
22kane Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 (edited) Very nice, I really like the colors on this one. Great MOC! Is this powered with two motors? Edited August 3, 2011 by 22kane Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Awesome set of locos 'helos'. The colors are awesome! Especially the lime one. Very well done Quote
helos Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) Well, I note there is someone else who like an unusual lime livery. Thank you all guys for your replies. Okay, the original one color has a little different nuance but it is acceptable in our Lego world. For what concern the deeplinked images I'm trying to do that but currently I can't manage this feature. I was deep involved in bricking and snapping so I've overlooked how to make a deeplink. 22kaneIs this powered with two motors? Yes it is powered with two 9V motor wich allow easily the loco of pulling a dozen of rolling stock if the magnetic couplings hold together. You have only to use the 2878c02 wheels for low friction.
