Since I've been into Lego pretty much my whole life, I've lost all kinds of minifigures and important pieces to old sets. I hate that its happened to me recently also. So please share your experiences with lost pieces. Quote

I'd just gotten the Dino-Attack Helicopter set.(used, but complete) I opened the box, and spilled the parts all over the place. Including in my chocolate pudding. While scrambling to keep all the parts in the open, I knocked the pudding over, spilling it on more of my Legos. My dog, who is a pig, jumped on the spilled pudding, and ate a few of the parts(mainly the little 1x1 flat bricks) but still..... AARGH! Quote
