gylman Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 There is a site, I forgot the name, from China, which has the most insane display of minifigs, all organized by theme and variations. It is possible that this is the same person. I'm sure someone will post the link.... I just forgot it. Gah. Quote
Section8 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 gylman: http://www.legofigs.com/webpage/fameset_e.htm It's a Japanese site, the link jumps you to the root of the English version of the site. You will still encounter some Japanese text, though it displays as ???s if you don't have the language installed. Quote

kenji Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 I thought Asia is a poor poor region, from the fact that they can own the entire collection of lego figures i guess the US can stop subsidising them. Quote
gylman Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 LOL. I doubt the US subsidises that region. Within 10-20 year it will likely be the other way around. :-D Quote

Gee, thanks for making me feel old as dirt since LEGO only started making Minifigs within my lifetime :-P and with sites like ebay and Bricklink it's totally possible ;-) Quote

snefroe Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 well if this is the guy from the website, then he surely needs a few more extremely rare space men, so i wouldn't call the collection complete... Quote

Khorne Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Perhaps that would be because maybe the guy doesn't really sees them as minifigs. They're part of Bionicle which isn't System (I think 8-| ), so maybe he only collects minifigs from System sets. Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I totally agree with your analysis KhoRne ;-) He has a real purist approach of Mfs collecting it seems: no bionicle and no Exo Robots. I still can't believe people complaing because he doesn't have those figs *wacko* I mean this guys' collection is a definite Blue Ribbon Panel 8- Quote
Sir Dillon Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Or, maybe these pictures might've been taken a few years ago, so that's why he doesn't have them? Quote
