Bricksandparts Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 (edited) Hopefully I will expand this small MOC into a giant kingdom. But for now, here it is: the roof technique: inside the house: some carrots: some cabbage: bonus picture! [/img] hope you like it! UPDATE: Pt. 2 The Layout: Out in the grain fields (I will just put a few of these in the final model because they can really make things Laggy) And lastly, The (I think is pretty cool) fencing technique: I think you can download pt. 1 and 2 here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=479945 Hope everyone likes it! farm pt 1.lxf Edited August 11, 2011 by Bricksandparts Quote

Hollander Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Really nice ''Bricksandparts''! You sure used some neat technices in thuis build, and also the use of the hairpieces is nice. Using bricks what they are not meant for is the trick, huh? I would love to see this build finished. Any plans on building it in real? Quote
Beefbanana Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I like the roof on the house, but my favorite part is the grain fields, especially the scarcrow. Good work. Quote

Well, I wasn't exactly planning on building it in real life, mostly because it would be so expensive. also, most of the pieces I used pieces that don't exist, sorry. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) A very quickly made map of area around castle: Edited August 11, 2011 by Bricksandparts Quote
The Undo Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I like your farm Bricksandparts. Especially the grain field detail and that cool fencing tecnique. And thats a big project you're working on, so it will be cool to see the progress. Question: will you be making all of this in one file or separatly the town, castle, farm etc.? Quote

Defiantly multiple files, I don't even think that when I'm done I will actually put them all together, I mean to say, that there are so many pieces that LDD would take at least a few hours to load it, if it didn't crash that is. Anyways, I plan to show the model in small sections and a big map of multiple screenshots together to try to make it look like it is in one model. Quote
KristofBD Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 A very clever build indeed! I'm pretty curious how this will look in real life... Quote
