New AFOL from Belgium

Hello,

another AFOL here, this time one from a small patch of land called Belgium.

31 Years old, 32 in 2 weeks and just getting back to my childhood's favourite pastime.

Bought set 8421 - Mobile Crane a few years ago but since then haven't had much (if any) time due to 2 small children.

However that's changing now and I just got set 8285, the 'smoked' variety, so I've got some washing to do.

One problem I'm already facing is how to stick to a budget

Main interest is Technic, but the CMF are trying really hard to get my attention.

Kids are still to young to play with Technic, but I am getting my son started with 'small LEGO' as he calls it. Duplo is then 'large LEGO'. Got all my firetrucks from my parent's house and he absolutely loves them. Especially the Light & Sound fire truck.
