Legostein Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Hello! The golden globe with the ring around it looks very appealing. I am looking forward seeing this in real shiny golden bricks. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 I am not that big of a fan of Superman so I have no idea what this would look like. But I like the beginning of it here. I really like that golden globe for sure. Can't wait to see the rest. Quote
Hoboman Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I have to agree with what has been already said. The globe looks great and I look forward to seeing this in real bricks. Quote
deskp Posted July 27, 2011 Author Posted July 27, 2011 Sorry to say, i dont plan on making this in real bricks. I dont think all bricks are available in the colors I've used, like the golden pieces used for the globe dont excist (far as bricklink knows) Quote
AndyC Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Both looking pretty good, though if you're going for the genuine LEGO set feel it might need some flick-fire missiles. Quote
Sam Vimes Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Great work...Just add DOOMSDAY and your good ok ;) Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 It's quite lovely! I'm actually a little irked, simply because I was already thinking of doing something with the Daily Planet building myself for the LEGO Superheroes contest, but this is an attractive piece of work. I do hope you find a way to do it in real bricks. Quote

lightningtiger Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Excellent digital creation 'deskp', it would be AWESOME to see brick built....a lot easier than Superman's ice castle from the first movie in the late 70's eh ? And remember Superman fights for truth, justice and the Lego way ! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Very nice, looks to have some good play room. But where's the Superman telephone changing 'room'? Quote
deskp Posted July 29, 2011 Author Posted July 29, 2011 ^ Dont know how to do a phote booth that looks like one. I also made a Arkham asylum building. 391 bricks Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 These look great! I do hope TLG has some modular sets like these in the pipeline for the Super Heroes line. Quote
