MOC Daily planet

I've started making a MOC of the daily planet from Superman, I'm trying to make it fairy similar to a lego set, not a model, Its still a work in progress.

So far it's made from 158 pieces.

The golden globe with the ring around it looks very appealing. I am looking forward seeing this in real shiny golden bricks.

I am not that big of a fan of Superman so I have no idea what this would look like. But I like the beginning of it here. I really like that golden globe for sure. Can't wait to see the rest.

Sorry to say, i dont plan on making this in real bricks. I dont think all bricks are available in the colors I've used, like the golden pieces used for the globe dont excist (far as bricklink knows)

Both looking pretty good, though if you're going for the genuine LEGO set feel it might need some flick-fire missiles.

It's quite lovely! I'm actually a little irked, simply because I was already thinking of doing something with the Daily Planet building myself for the LEGO Superheroes contest, but this is an attractive piece of work. I do hope you find a way to do it in real bricks.

Excellent digital creation 'deskp', it would be AWESOME to see brick built....a lot easier than Superman's ice castle from the first movie in the late 70's eh ?

And remember Superman fights for truth, justice and the Lego way !

These look great! I do hope TLG has some modular sets like these in the pipeline for the Super Heroes line.
