Hi everyone,

I received some printed Modulex tiles in a batch of bricks from Europe and I am having trouble figuring out what the abbreviations are for. They might be German or Danish. I don't think they are person's initials, because there are several of each abbreviation (like it was in a set). They look like the letters were printed on, not by the end user. I'm attaching photos. Anyone have any ideas? I was trying to think of countries, currencies, or some other kind of abbreviation. Thoughts? Thanks!

Karyn

apparently not German, I speak German well enough to communicate adequately. I guess it indeed is Dansk, but a quick look at Google:

http://en.wiktionary...ays_of_the_week

The last picture has: o.a. MA, DI, WO, DO, VR

Dutch: Maandag, Dinsdag, Woensdag, Donderdag, Vrijdag, oohw and in the first one Zaterdag (ZA, Saturday) and Zondag (ZO, Sunday).

No clue about the others other than: ROT is RED in German, VIN is Wine in French, ZON is Sun in Dutch.

Thanks... that's a good start. Perhaps others will be able to identify others.
