Logan McOwen Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 My son just turned 5 today and I got him Joker and Batman. They are real simple builds, he got them done in just a few minutes. Not my cup of tea but my son loves them. Yeah, I think the figures themselves suit more to that sort of age group... but us guys are here for the partage! Glad he likes them :) Quote
Shakar Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Thanks, Caboose. I just wanted to say that the DC figures are finally available on S@H for European countries, priced at 14,99 euro. Quote

Masta' Blasta' Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Well, that's interesting, i've always wanted Spidey as a minifigure. A while back there was an actual Spider-Man theme. Did you miss it? Quote
vexorian Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I am drolling at Iron Man's review here: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=2949 Iron Man looks excellent. I think he is going to be the one and only licensed set I buy this year. Will probably get three and take advantage of the set being great so I could get more friction joints. Quote

Iron Man is one of the best figs this year! By the way, I saw the review of a few Lego Superheroes sets and I have to say that I'm satisfied with Iron Man minifig design. This opening mask is perfect! I thought that it's not movable. Deadpool looks brilliant also. I must have his fig! Good job Lego. Quote
_shaddow_ Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I got all the Marvel Ultrabuild today (they were available at my Disney Store here in France). Hulk and Cap are both pretty good (even if cap suffers, like Iron Man, from low shoulders if you don't use his "jetpack"), but I don't really like how they did Iron Man's arms, so I modified it to make it look better IMO. Here are the pictures (gallery here when available). Quote
PaulBaldowski Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I saw Green Lantern in my local Forbidden Planet... but, I also saw it on Amazon... and I have a birthday coming up soon. I really want to get this one, but if I'm really lucky I won't need to. Quote

_shaddow_ Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I just wonder where his gun went. Nowhere, since Iron man doesn't normaly have a gun like this. Quote
xxlrocka Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Nowhere, since Iron man doesn't normaly have a gun like this. Oh...well you could at least give him some sort of gun! Quote
Omicron Squad Leader Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Oh...well you could at least give him some sort of gun! I'm pretty sure they just took War Machine's gun and slapped it on there to make it look "cooler". Speaking of War Machine, there's an Ultrabuild I'd like to see! Quote
Cirkit Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I think the change of shoulders looks great. Personally, I think if I were to improve the Iron Man set somehow, it would be to move those gold engine decoration pieces from the shoulders to the legs, but that's just me. Without the gun, though, he does look a little.. odd. I wish there was a way to remedy that, I can't figure out how though. War Machine would be a welcome Ultrabuild Superhero addition, I think. Speaking of War Machine, there's an Ultrabuild I'd like to see! Need to lobby LEGO to focus on inorganic characters from now on. DC has Brainiac, which would be lovely as ultrabuild. Marvel has War Machine and Sentinels, that's good enough for me. I think Doc Ock could work, but not too much. Quote
CabooseBM Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 (edited) You could do Lex Luthor in one of his power armor suits. Edited April 8, 2012 by CabooseBM Quote

BZPower has a Captain America review up, and it is FANTASTIC, with AMAZING PHOTOS. We will also have an Iron Man and a Hulk review up by the end of this week most likely. Quote
