roamingstop Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) When I first saw photos of the 3677 Red Cargo Train, the windscreens caught my eye, Red Colour and potentially a much cheaper replacement part for the Santa Fe series (only the portholes remain expensive). My first 3677 arrived last night (finally) and so I took some photos to compare the difference. Trans-Black (3677) versus clear (10020). I also took a photo with it in situe; and actually it still looks good on Santa Fe... So what do other people think? A suitable substitute? Edited July 20, 2011 by roamingstudio Quote
Morten Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I thought too that this would be a way to get the wind-screen. I will not pay the price on BL for the santa-fee version. A lot of older danish trains has red windscreen like Santa Fee, so this makes it cheaper tom make train MOCs. Try and change the panels on the side, so all the windows are the same color.
