Masked Builder Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Front. I tried to get as much brown on this as I could. Then again, I don't have much brown..... I started with putting the suitcases on the back and then went from there. I think I got a good "spine" look for the back of this guy. The head started as a quick sketch-up, I like it so much that I had to use it! I really wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do here. But I did end up getting a very "ribbed" feeling to him. I went for short stocky legs. The boxes were te piece that I had to use in a innovative way. I wanted him to be sort of akward, big hands and feet. That type of thing. I wanted to use the parts as feet and then I decided that I wanted to make the Bot short and fat. This is one of my favorite bots yet. And came out better then I had hoped. I was going for a rongYIREN look with this guy. I think I got that. Flickr Built July 2011 Quote
Hoboman Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I like many parts to him. But I am not a fan of the feet. They seem too big for the rest of him. Sorry. I would love to see him with some smaller feet. Quote
Hollander Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) A nice job you did there 'Masked Builder'. I like the use of the crates so as the suitcases. Edited July 22, 2011 by Hollander Quote
Legostein Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Hello! The oversized hands and feet suit it really well! Especially the alternate use of the wooden boxes is quite original. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
LEGOMAN132 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Very cool I like the use of the crarea and suitcases. Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 Thanks guys! I like many parts to him. But I am not a fan of the feet. They seem too big for the rest of him. Sorry. Well the feet parts were the part that I had to use. Quote
