Hey there fellow EBers,

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but I have a question regarding buying items on Bricklink.

My question is, is it possible to search for stores that have everything you're looking for? When I'm looking for items, I want to buy everything I need at the same store to keep shipping costs down, instead of buying from different stores at the same time. What I'm asking is, is there a search function or another way to find a store that has all or most of the parts I need?

I tried looking this up on BL as well, but I couldn't rephrase my question into search query that gave results. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't know if there's a direct way to find a store that has everything you want, but here's a method that works for me:

First, in your profile, go to your wanted list and select 'show all'. Then each item will have a list of stores underneath it that currently carry that item in the amount and condition you want. Click on whatever store you want from the list, and right up near the search bar in whatever store you choose there will be an option 'All parts this store has on my wanted list'. Click on this, and then the store will show a list of everything they carry that is currently on your wanted list. This method takes a little bit of hunting around, but it's much less than searching normally for the items you want.

Hope this helped! :classic:

If one store has all your parts, this is the way to find the parts.

Go to "Wanted" -> "By Shop" and then pick the shop with most "Unique" items. This shows which single shop has the most unique parts your looking for.

Note, it doesn't mean this has to be cheaper then buying at several stores. The way i do it is check several shops, compaire prices and save money that way.

Agreed. Wanted -> By Shop is probably the best way to start, you can refine which wanted lists you want to include too. Unless you're only after common parts, you'll most likely be unsuccessful in finding everything in the one place at a price you're interested in paying.

Thanks for your help guys. P4trickvH, your method seems to work the best, and it is quite useful. It's too bad you can't sort the results by price, but I can just do as you said and compare prices manually.

Thanks again, it's great to have a community where everyone is so quick to help.
