LuxorV Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Finally, after having the model sit in a corner for quite some time now, I found the time to shoot and post it So, here comes the Queen: I tried to keep 'her' as organic, and possibly sturdy, as possible. Unfortunately, the first set of legs I built were too flimsy for the bg head-plate, and I had to change them. These new ones are better in terms of articulations' strength, but still a bit wael in the feet joints. And here is a classic scene from the film: More pics in this Brickshelf gallery (when pubblic). I haven't seen any of the movies yet, but from the pictures I've seen the head shape seems accurate for the queen. The only part I'm not sold on is the leg design. They seem a little flimsy--perhaps more detailed feet (with claws) instead of those robot hands would make it look more sturdy. I like how you even got the extra little arms, a detail that should not be missed. Quote

I can't really say the little arms feature was the main drive, but it contributed to my desire to make an Alien Queen MOC Funny, I'm working on an Alien creation right now. Anyways, nice MOC, Luxor.
