Finally, after having the model sit in a corner for quite some time now, I found the time to shoot and post it

So, here comes the Queen:

I tried to keep 'her' as organic, and possibly sturdy, as possible. Unfortunately, the first set of legs I built were too flimsy for the bg head-plate, and I had to change them. These new ones are better in terms of articulations' strength, but still a bit wael in the feet joints.

And here is a classic scene from the film:

Wow, love how you made the whole head, just excellent! The two little arms upfront are a nice detail. I'm not a fan of the legs, they seem too skinny to me. Other than that great work! :classic::thumbup:

Funny, I'm working on an Alien creation right now.

Anyways, nice MOC, Luxor. I haven't seen any of the movies yet, but from the pictures I've seen the head shape seems accurate for the queen. The only part I'm not sold on is the leg design. They seem a little flimsy--perhaps more detailed feet (with claws) instead of those robot hands would make it look more sturdy.

I like how you even got the extra little arms, a detail that should not be missed.

Hello!

It's amazing how you managed to let her look that agile and realistic like in the movie. You succeeded with your task to let her look organic! :classic:

Thank you for the comments, -zenn.

I can't really say the little arms feature was the main drive, but it contributed to my desire to make an Alien Queen MOC

Indeed, JimButcher, the legs would need some more work, so maybe someday I'll have an Alien Queen 2.0 to post.

Thanks Legostein. I always look for screenshots and watch and re-watch the films when I want to make a MOC based on it, until I'm positive I can capture the original design well enough to be recognisable

Wonderful job!

You have encompased the Queen's apperance excellently!

Keep up the well done "Aliens" MOCs!

Stay Frosty

Thank you Paladin Hicks. I'm not planning other Aliens MOCs in the near future, but this is a theme I keep visiting from time to time, so who knows?

Very creative moc Luxor, I like it very much!

I'm happy to hear you like it, Delta62. It makes the builder's job more enjoyable when one gets positive feedback
