Thanks, efferman, for making the excellent PDF Building Instructions! I like the 5-page Parts List and the 94 pages of step-by-step guidance.

For those who are a bit "put off" by the need to create a RapidShare account (to download efferman's 6.5-MB file), I have "mirrored" his instructions here on MegaUpload SkyDrive (which needs no account to download, and which is faster than the 5-minute process to create a RapidShare account).

Hi,

I had no problem with downloading them from rapidshare without registering. But nice if there are several options to get them, so long as Efferman wants to keep them free.

Thanks Dluders, but there is a downloadbutton which needs no registering. btw. I have no intention to make money with the instruction. i want only share my ideas.

It seems that the lego group hit the bullseye with this set. does anyone know who does designed it?

It was designed by Anders Gaasedal who, among other models, has designed the following ones (which makes him my favorite Technics designer)

From what I know, Anders has now moved on and is on the Mindstorms team. The 8109 was the last one he did before switching teams.
