This is my first post, so hello everybody !

On to business. I like this brick, but I want the colours reversed, so a black 2x2 with white eyes.

I've searched on Peeron, but it seems that it doesn't exist [only in white, yellow and red].

Is there an alternative way to achieve this? Maybe with some sticker sheet or so?

Any and every help is very welcome.

I am not the biggest purist in the world, so an alternative is welcome, as long as it's a sticker sheet or so [no alternative bricks like MB allowed in my house !].

To explain why: Well I like both LEGO and Linux, and I made my own LEGO Tux [Tux is the name of the mascot of the Linux kernel]. (I hope it's okay that I link to that forum? This Tux is my own creation, you can use it if you want, but it's really really simple)

I'd love for my little LEGO Tux to have eyes, since they are so pronounced in the mascot.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I gotta say, this is one awesome community you guys have here. :)

Hello and welcome on the boards!

Maybe you'd like to use this two-piece version:

It's a common eye technique and looks formidable in brick-built creatures. :classic:

Thanks !

I'll try it, but I kinda doubt if it'll look good, the eyes then protrude too much maybe, but it certainly is worth a try, because it's a solution I hadn't thought of !

Haha, I'm an AFOL who'd JUST returned to the [brilliant] hobby.

I'm more leaning towards stickers however, to keep the 'classic look' for this one little project, but I have no idea if there are generic LEGO sticker sheets available?

You know what, I'm going for something like you posted: a black 1x2 technic brick with two holes facing forward, in which I can place two of those stud connectors.

I need a part or two, but I'll let you know [or show] how it turned out if I have it together.

This will then be LEGO Tux version 1.2 for those who have the parts.

Thanks for your help !
