DLuders Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) On his Flickr photostream, "Good old Lego Builder" posted 6 pictures of his studded Lego Scania L76 Appels tow truck. He wrote that it was his "...first attempt at Lego building after some 20 years or more. Opened my old boxes with Lego and created this Scania L76 tow truck, based on the real one of Appels Autobedrijven Waalwijk of the Netherlands. The boom is extendable. Backwheels have suspension." Lasse D Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Wow. The building style is retro Model Team and I absolutely love it! I want to give these old Scanias a try as well, although my style might not give the same kind of nostalgia trip. This seems like a very good start fresh out of the dark ages. Quote
Good old Lego builder Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the positive response! Lasse, I visited your site. Very impressive Scania! (also like the other creations by the way) I think I'm going to give it a try to create a 141 LB Scania. Although I think it might me difficult with the bricks I have. Might get a bit 'squared'.
