Hi all,

My latest creation to go with the classic cars and the "Hotel Chat Noir";

dsc04826rr.jpg

The train station of the small french town "Royville", locfated somewhere in france, in the year 1967.

The station -with the provisional platform-extensions- meassures 96 studs long.

The detailing is still provisional also, I havent even decided yet if I´ll tile the whole platform, or leave it "studly"...

My favorite photo and angle of the moc;

Although the building will probably only be seen from the platform-side, I just HAD to finish the street-side, as it is higly interessting;

One last view of the street-side;

That´s all. -And before somebody asks; NO, it doesnt have an interior, neither will it get one. And no, it doesnt open up or have any other interessting features.

Looks fantastic! Shame about it being visible from one side though, as the street side is really great too. If it has to be seen from one side only, it might be an idea to put a clock, in the same way, on the platform side too as it looks so nice.

It it were my model, I would tile the platform; it looks more finished with a relfective surface.

wow, I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this is. The level of detail is supurb. It really feels like I am sitting there waiting for the train to come in those pictures. The one you describe as your favorite, is mine as well. Feels like something out of an old time movie. You can almost picture a guy running down the trackside yelling for his love as the train slowely leaves the station. I would love to see that same shot in Black & White Film Noir style.

Brick On!

This is indeed a marvelous creation, and if I have can have your permission, I would like to borrow a few of the design details for the train station I have always to build for my own layout. I like how you you made the handles for the doors, I used the same pieces on a Tiger tank I built some time ago. The clock is a nice touch too, did you get that from Lego's own train station, you know which one I mean, the yellow open concept station.

Fantastic building, thanks for sharing eh! default_cry_happy.gif

Beautiful work Hoexbroe. I like the colours you've used because they produce a more "local/forklore" result and it's good that you've created a long platform - it's more practical for the minifigs. :wink:

I'll move this in the Train Tech Forum btw since it has to do with trains.

A special thanks to Zorbas for his understanding in keeping my "TOWN" project in the same forum, although it might cross boundaries with other forums. (The "TRAIN"-part in this project here is purely secondary). :laugh:

Very nice station 'Hoexbroe', a tiled platform would look even better, though if you going to position semi-permanent minifigs in pose then still leaving a few studs to pose them would be a good idea. :wink:

Keep up the great work and Brick On 'Hoexbroe' ! :grin:

Wow, this is a great station!

I think I like the front the most, but the overhang over the platform is also nicely done.

There are some really nice details you got here. The lamp posts and bench are perfect!

Another great creation from you, Hoexbroe. I won't bring anything new to this topic, as this has already been said, but I'd still like to join in the praise of some of your details, like those phone bars for door handles. Very nice!

I'd tile the platform, though. I like slick surfaces, too :)

Wonderful station!

I like all details ...the back with fences and lamps is too real! :wub:

I'm speechless! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks! Your own station (you posted it in my Hotel Chat Noir thread) isnt half bad either! :classic:

I really like the classic town vibe that is exuded by this train station, and coupled with the modern smooth surfaces the combination works perfectly for me. Great job once again Hoexbroe! :thumbup:
