GuiliuG Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Today, I'm going to feature my most complex creation so far. It's a telehandler, built for fana'briques2011 during the month of march. So, it's the first creation I have built for fana'briques. It took me approximativly 75 houres to create it. The idea to build such a MOC came from rom104 with his awesome telehandler : His telehandler And here is mine : It owns a two mod steering: normal and crabe. It's actionned by the gyrophar on the top of the cabin. A sliding axle permits to change direction mod. The battery box is easily removable And the cabin is just fixed on the frame : With a 5 outputs gearbox, it's possible to control each functions which are : right stabilizer, left stabilizer, lifting arm, telescoping arm and tilt of the fork. Same if it's not perfect, i'm very please with the way it turned out and i have learnt a lot of things :) You can see more pictures on my brickshel galery And here is the video : As you can hear, gears crack at end position, but if you take care, it's not a problem. I have also made a notice : If you want to built it... I hope you like it and I will be happy to answer to your questions :) Edited July 1, 2011 by GuiliuG Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Great work i think it is your best one yet ,however i think you should have geared the boom a bit more. I also like the way you made power go to the fork tilt. Quote
DarkShadow73 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Very nice creation indeed, like it much better than the disappointing 8295 Telehandler that came out a few years ago. Too bad TLG doesn't take more opinions/MOC's and make them into flagship sets... @Alasdair: That was one thing I hated about the 8295 Telehandler, no fork tilt that was gear operated from the model itself, and when you motorized it still didn't have the capability to tilt the forks... Great work i think it is your best one yet ,however i think you should have geared the boom a bit more. I also like the way you made power go to the fork tilt. Quote
P4trickvH Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Great model and way better than the one Lego did. Also nice job on the step-by-step pictures. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Nice job! I like the dual mode steering and the movable forks. Quote
