Vignette: Battle at the Golden Tower

I was watching LotR the other night, and it made me want to build something fantasy castle-ish. I don't have nearly enough bricks to build a decent castle, so this is the result, a balcony segment of a golden castle:

The Queen had been on her balcony, thinking about all her problems. Her father had died a few weeks ago, and her mother died giving birth. She was just seventeen, and not nearly old or mature enough to rule an entire Kingdom. She had the help of her advisor, someone her father had known for many years, and the aid of her private protector, a skilled former assassin from the Orient.

All of a sudden, the ground shook. She looked into the distance, and saw huge army charging towards her castle. She recognised it instantly as the vicous Troll army, lead by Marissa the Goblin sorceress.

Trolls scaled the walls, and set fire whatever they could. Marissa yelled orders in them in a language that the Queen couldn't understand.

The Queen ran inside to get her Advisor in his office. She had no idea what to do. As she ran through the doors, her protector ran onto the balcony, along with an Elf she didn't know. The two fought against the hoards of trolls using deadly skill and precision.

As always, I'd love to hear comments, but I can't actually improve it as it's already been destroyed.

Nice work Gregovich it really has a LOTR feel to it. My one surgesttion is use a bit more snot on it, the wall seems a bit plain

Thanks. As I said, I can't improve it because it's already been broken down. But I do agree with you, it would look better with more SNOT work.
