GuiliuG Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 (edited) Hello everybody ! As some of you have maybe noticed, i haven't featured any MOCs since february. Actually i do not stop mocing but i prepared a lot of "surprises" ( 6) for fana'briques. I will present you all my models, from newest to oldest. So, here is the last creation i have built, exactly a week before fana'briques. It's very simple and i have built it in approximativly thirty minutes. And a small video not really necessary : Edited June 27, 2011 by GuiliuG Quote
marcusi Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Wow really nice! Looks a lot like the one I tried to build but failed at. I also used grey liftarms and a linear actuator but after spending half a day at it i got bored and gave up. You say you built it in just 30 minutes!!? Are you sure it was so fast, because if so and however simple the moc is you are a true master builder :) Quote
GuiliuG Posted June 28, 2011 Author Posted June 28, 2011 Yes, i have built it in approximativly thirty minutes ( maybe thirty-five^^). I had a good idea how to built it before taking my parts, so i've quickly created it. If you look, there is nothing particular difficult at this model if you know before mocing how to create the chisel. And thanks a lot for compliments! Quote
BrickWild Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 It'll be more great if you've used pneumatics! Quote
Philo Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Grr.... I missed it in Fana'Briques! Time is scarce during exhibits... Quote
Seluryar Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 GuiliuG, i like this moc, but i am having trouble thinking of a way to attach the lift beams to the platform and chassis, could you post larger sized images showing the detail in how you achieved it? Quote
GuiliuG Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) I'm sorry but i haven't others pictures and it's still disassembled. You can maybe see biger pictures on my brickshelf galery : Here Edited June 29, 2011 by GuiliuG Quote
technicmad Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Even I can build this, thanks! OK I was wrong, I tried without looking back at your pictures and failed miserably :( Quote
Seluryar Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 (edited) just got done with the hard part, here are progress pics: Edited June 30, 2011 by Seluryar Quote
Darkdragon Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Very nice. I'm still extreme novice doing anything Technic but a scissorlift is something that really intersts me as a very useful product (not to stand on!). I will have to give this build a try sometime. Quote
Seluryar Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 just motorized mine, but it looks a little awkward, now i need to figure out how to work a clutch gear into it... Quote

Seluryar Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Nice ! Is a Xl really necessary? it was easier to mount since the m motors dont have the side holes Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 How come yours seluryar is a bit jumpy whan rasing is that the la's? Quote
Seluryar Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 How come yours seluryar is a bit jumpy whan rasing is that the la's? i dont know, but i think i was able to reduce that by taking out a section or lift beam to shorten the height Quote
