hueybricks Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Here is a short stop motion film i made. I have not done any stop motion before this year so it is all new to me. Let me know what you think. Vimeo The Vimeo link is slightly better quality. Thanks Hueybricks Quote
Peanuts Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I myself haven't ever done a brickfilm, so I'm no expert about them, but the I like the fact it's very fluent. Also the content is quite funny and the sounds fit well into the situations and are a great additition. My personal favourite test was the katana cut. So, overall, well done. Keep up brick-flicking! hueybricks Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It took me a while to make, but I learnt quite a bit in the process. Quote
NiceMarmot Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 That's great! Looks like pretty good quality, decent sound, and fluid motion. Funny too. Looking forward to more adventures of the rookie ninja. Quote

I just watched yours, your idea to simulate smoke works really well, good job. I don't have any experience on macs, I use monkeyjam for frame capture but I import the stills into movie maker live in windows7 to compile. I think it does a better job than monkeyjam at producing clips. In movie maker live you can reduce the frame duration for each still down to .03sec. I use .04 which is approx 24fps. I'm still starting out and haven't decided if i'm going to get better software yet. Quote
