KotZ Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Or, the title can conversely be called "King Arthur as a Child." I know I pretended to be a knight when I was younger, but not quite to this extent. I saw Spamalot a few days ago, and it inspired me to make a Castle-themed MOC, but I didn't have enough pieces to make some of the set pieces on a large scale. After galloping (with coconuts) with some buddies around the town (I think they consider me the town madman, now) I decided to make this. The Black Knight as a child (or his son, whichever you prefer yourself): Top view: The kids: And the bare vignette: Comments and Criticism are welcome! Quote
Pandora Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Love the idea behind this MOC (galloping with coconuts ) and the way the idea has stretched; it immediately brings to mind the scene in the original film (regretfully I haven't seen Spamalot )and the posing of the figures works really well. Before the onslaught of "you shall not have died in vain, sweet Concorde" and "actually sir I'm not dead" etc etc etc, may I say a great follow-up would be King Arthur's battle with the Black Knight? KotZ Posted June 28, 2011 Author Posted June 28, 2011 Thanks, Pandora! I actually was thinking of possibly doing one of the scenes, but decided against it, as i didn't know how some would react. Now that I have one suggestion, I think I may do it now! Quote
